christmas list

im trying to make a christmas list for my wife of stuff i want. i have a budget of $200. so far i have spent about $100. im asking for a 4' gaff and the magma rod holder bait table. i need some suggestion that are boat related for about $50-$70. let me know what you would want.

What about tools like pliers, crimpers, lip grips like Boga(more than $70 though).Maybe more storage items like bags,or boxes.Safety equipment flares, good life jacket.Terminal tackle, scales line etc.Maybe some engine related stuff, like oil or stabilizer etc.

I guess it does get to the point when we really don't need anything, and I never thought that day would come.

im at the point where the boat does not really need anything to be safe on the water and function properly. but then again who doesnt want more accessories.
your list gave me an idea for the saltwater wash down pump. it going on the list. thanks!

Yikes.....almost 7 months pregnant!! It's a little late for the "One nice tiny bikini for her to wear and you to use" That's funny. :)

Good luck with the baby!!!

Evan,
Call Bryan Connley @ 685 fish. He is the owner of Connley fishing and makes sweet custom rods and gaffs. Black friday sale going on. Tell him I sent you. He used to own Chaos. I just got another KF 20-50rod for 90 clams. Great guy.

A couple of things I wish I had or really apppreciate having are:

1. An automatic inflating life vest

2. an aluminum, dis-assembling anchor

3. foldable cup holders for mounting along the inner liner at the gunnels or by the front buld head.

4. A red light flash light or red under gunnel indirect lighting for night fishing. The red light doesn't hurt your night vision.

5. More money, but definately a worhtwhile investment is an electric anchor windlass

6. a fishing tackle type box with a set of tools- sockets, screw drivers, wrenchs and a rachet drive and bits.

7. a handheld bearing compass

8. a holder of some type for holding fenders

9. A hand held VHF, if you don't already have one

10. A compact VOM/ multi-meter for your onbard tool box.

Just a list of what I either have or wish I did. Good luck with "Santa in a two piece!"
