A boat for when the fish are not biting
 
It not a seacraft, it doesn't even have a rod holder :) Its a plywood/epoxy/glass composite double cockpit runabout.

It has a 140 hp jetski drive/motor, hull its plywood/epoxy composite. Runs around 50 mph. Built for short runs to the spoil island or inlet beach. Front cockpit for the chillens.

well, its kind of up to how you build it, we sell kits not finished boats. This boat has about $10k in total materials (including the donor jetski). I have roughly 400 to 500 hours of labor into it.

We will sell this one after we play with it for a while.

very cool, did the upholstery a few year back for a buy who did the same thing basic;y a jetski in the motor well a bit smaller was his retro antique

The boat is featured in Boating magazine, nice article on building your own boat :D

It might be in Soundings too, but I did not see that. Maybe it was part of an ad for paint?
