Go Zuki!

You convinced me a few months ago to put down a deposit on one.

Personally, i think the Yamaha and Honda are heavy on the lbs's and wallet .... but what do i know .... - Nick

hail' no! Direct Injection is the only way to go: cleaner, quieter, faster, lighter, BETTER, etc.

Oops - I have a Suzi 140 4-banger, what am I saying?!

Anyone know how the 222EFI holds up?

I see a dealer in FLA selling new 2003's for just under 8 K.

Sounds too good to be true?

A friend of mine has a '00 200 EFI and loves it. I think he paid $10K for it, including installation at Atlantic Boats in Wareham. However, you might want to check out this board's sponsor, Viking Marine in Portsmouth RI.

Check out www.edsmarinesuperstore.com ($7,499) they have the Johnoson 140 (suzuki) and you will not have to pay sales tax, not sure if this includes the Johnson $4 horsepower rebate or not. You will spend an additional $350-$400 to ship and cover fee for the dealer that ship it to (motor has to be delivered through a dealership...they will locate one locally). You might reduce the dealer fee if they rig the motor for you. I bought a yamaha through them last year.

JW-

Thanks for de-railing my ad eds prices do not include any parts pieces, prop, controls, guages, etc this is where they get you.

Re: 2003 Suzuki 140 4 stroke 25\" shaft

Sorry, (if you want to delte my posts I will not be offended) I have been looking hard for a 140 myself, Eds does not take credit cards and sometimes can be a pain to deal with...they require certified check...they have some negative feedback occassionally on the thehulltruth website as well. Also if your state requires motors to be titled the state may still get you for the sales tax due.

I promise to make a donation to CC later this month!
