Re: need help with id
...well, in image DSC00696 I notice a set of twin horns that I have not seen on any other SeaCraft 25's that I recall

Re: need help with id
The images are not of a SeaCraft built by Potter, CSY or Tracker. But it certainly is a classic...

Re: need help with id
I didn't realize any boats were built in Weymouth MA.

Jeep,
Welcome to the site, I think you are going to fit in just fine! Does the previous owner offer any insight as to the history of this vessel? Is is all original or were any additions made? |

No cracks b/c it was painted camo. 22'6" it's probably an anacapri |

Re: need help with id
I'm not trying to be mean, but I think the trailer might be worth more without the boat on it.
|
Re: need help with id
It's not a SeaCraft. Let's let this thread gracefully slip away.
|
Re: need help with id
Not slip, run...

Re: need help with id
send them a bill for your mileage and time to look at it.
Honestly, you are looking at something light years away from anything worth restoration effort. Except in Wayne's World, did you ever see a restored (i.e. "running") AMC Pacer? A quality boat hull worth putting some $ into is like finding an original 289 Mustang in somebody's barn. Unfortunately, this is not a 289 Mustang...sorry to be harsh |
Re: need help with id
Weymouth has produced a couple of damn handsome Seacraft owners; the 1951 model is an exceptional year, but Seacraft boats?? I don't think so!! Come to think of it I might have seen that boat at Whitman's Pond. It was in 15 feet of water and I used to pitch a jig and pig to it!
