Is there any talk of a New Jersey gathering over the summer. If so please let me know, I'd love to attend.

Lets pick a date.

We may as well meet at the Flying Cloud in A.C.again. I talked with Pipedreams and Pogden today and their both down with it. I'll be seeing Scott tomorrow and run it by him, but I'm sure he's in.

Sundays are best for me .I usualy fish untill noon then go to work for a few hours. I can meet after 5 pm. or I may be able to take the whole day off if I can get my help to work that day,How is Aug 8 th or 15 th. You guys let ne know , If we can set a date in advance we can get the word out now and get more boats than last year.. Flying Cloud restu is good for me ...Joe R.

Aug 15 th is great for me , wife and little guy will be away that week I may just take the day off and go fishing .then meet up with you guys at the Cloud in the after noon,,,,,IF THE 15 TH IS A GO LET ME KNOW I WILL TRY TO GET THE WORD OUT ..I KNOW OTHER SEACRAFT OWNERS IN THE A.C. Hope we are getting together in Atlantic City on the 15 th. I ts getting closer any coments, time etc. I hope to do some trolling in the morning then stop by the Flying cloud later in the afternoon..P.S. THERE WAS A NICE GATHERING OF ABOUT 15 OLDER BERTRAMS AT A.C. THIS PAST WEEKEND MOST WERE RESTORED , ONE WAS RIGGED AS A WORKING LOBSTER BOAT .THEY WERE AT TRUMPS MARINA. JOE R. 20 FT. 1970 CC

It looks like this gathering may get pushed back a few weeks. Seems like the most of us have had a change in plans do to family matters, broken motors and the fact that the tuna are inshore. After talking with Finster and a few others ,we should push this meeting out a few weeks till Sept. By then a few more people maybe freed up too. Stay tuned and lets look at say the 11th of Sept...

I dont have a slip at Trumps, just asking if we were docking there.
We trailer it and put it in at Beesleys point next to the Tucahoe inn.

I thought that I read in one of the posts that you could dock there, at Trumps and go over to the Flying Cloud,didn't mean to cause any confusion

Frank I was trying to help get together some of the areas seacraft guys. last year a FEW of us met at the Flying Cloud Resturant in AC. Early in the summer I posted that we make plains ahead of time to get more intrest.And the date of aug 15 th was set.now it looks like a few guys cant make it this Sun.And they want to try for Sept 11th at the Flying cloud restu. You can dock for free at Trumps next to The Deck Restaurant or at Flying Cloud.However the weekend of Sept11 is the boat show at Trump marina and no docking is avail unless you are a slip holder...I would still like to see this get together . I personaly will have a hard time making it on the 11 th. Joe R.

Well... Joe if you want to still make it this weekend you can, just you maybe there by yourself. If the 11th of Sept is bad for you then pick a date thats good for you and it may work out for the rest of us. Seeing that your a local merchant you maybe be able to put the whole thing together better then Finster and myself. Take the ball and run with it, it may work out better.. Let us know what you come up with.

Don at this point I dont know what to tell every one .If anyone wants to meet this sat or sun at the Flying cloud restaurant I can be there around 5 pm. either day. R.S.V.P. Weather sucks this weekend ..LETS shot for sat sept 11 th. Its boat show, so maybe you can get more people to show . I will be glad to help put out the word .but I dont want to unless you guys give a commitment for that date. Was fishing on Sun. when Mike D CAME UP TO ME IN HIS RESTORED 20 POTTER WOW WOW !!!!!!!!! asked him if he ever went on classic saecraft and he said he did not know about this site....A bit unusual as he had an 18 and restored a 23 & 20 told him about a pos gathering at the Cloud on the 11th. He said he wants to make it .When you see his boat your eyes will pop out.....I also would like to get there but not sure as I did not see a time posted...and I may have to take off work early so I can have time to park at the Marina as the boat show is that day....I hope Mike finds this site and post.....Joe R.

Jeff there is no docking at Trump Marina that week as the show takes all the avail. empty slips,,,,, There should be room at the Flying Cloud Resturant IF This Gathering takes place. ANY IDEA ON A TIME YET ,I would like to put the word out to some other local Seacraft owners but I wont unless this is a sure thing ...as some of the people I know dont go on line much Joe R.

Ok ..here's the deal.. The 11th is the Ac in water show so it may be a bit tuff to get a place to hang out at, but the weather looks great. Now would the 18th work out any better for all ? If not then we may just have to deal with the crowds and plan for the 11th...

The 18 th is better for me HOWEVER I cant get there untill about 3 or 3:30.......I wont take a whole day off unless a decent amount of boats plain to show up....If you set a date and time I will get the word out to some guys who dont go on line often...also I will post the info on a few local fishing web sites...BUT ONLY IF YOU CAN SET A FIRM DATE AND TIME ,Joe R
