I saw this on yachtworld. I've never seen a 23 CC with a cabin. Any info out there?

You really want to see a Savage??....hehe.

Yeah Briguy, what Scott said. There's one down here at the marina thats original. It's an older one like the one you showed. You can tell by the goofy bow rail.

Never mind, on second take that rail is not as goofy as the one down here. So I would figure it's a little newer.

If I'm not mistaken, the owner of King Neptune restaurant in Port Salerno (Stuart, FL) has one of those and speaks quite highly of it If nothing else, they have great food!

There is a place for you guys, a place where you can be amoung others with your affliction, a place where you will not be made fun of, or afraid to say how you feel, where you will be welcomed with open arms, a place where you will actually be encouraged a place where you will be loved....
(well maybe not loved,... but very well liked is pretty good!)....

As with most diseases, some are more affected (infected?) than others (I won't name anyone in particular-Otto and Chris). But all are definitely addicted, and it is contagious. But for some unknown reason (a horrible twist of fate) most spouses are immune.

This is pretty funny- looking at, say, a red Savage FS, trying to figure out if I need it, (I know I want it- I want a good percent of the old seacrafts I see for sale), knowing I don't need it and really shouldn't even think about buying it, but the little guy on my shoulder is saying buy it! buy it! nice boat! and knowing there's a bunch of SC crazies out there thinking the same thing as me....

I ONLY HAVE THREE WISHES IN LIFE.

1. THE MONEY TO BUY ALL THE SEACRAFTS I REALLY LIKE.
2. THE MONEY & TIME TO FIX UP ALL THE SEACRAFTS I REALLY LIKE.
3. THE TIME TO USE ALL THE SEACRAFTS I REALLY LIKE.

IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK IN LIFE????????

A picture of the "cabin"

check out the glove boxes

Re: 23 seacraft inboard cc cabin?????

That would be because a Savage is accually a Sceptre without the winshield. They added a center console and a goofy bow rail. There you have it.

I understand the bow rail was designed that way for spotting icebergs.

Though I don't care for the boat much, I can see the practiallity of it.

Re: 23 seacraft inboard cc cabin?????

That bow rail is reminiscent of the high rails on the old Brownell and Mackenzie bass boats around here. Not sure why Potter chose to put one on the Savage and not on the Sceptre too.

I like the idea/layout of the Savage but I wish the glove boxes had been removed, they don't go well with the lines of the boat. Definitely a cost-effective way of rolling out a new model though.

maybe for standing up casting off the front deck? Kind of looks like the flycasting rails showing up on some of the northeast flats flyrod boats.

That Savage does look kind of goofy though......gloveboxes???

Steve, yup. On the Tsunami/Sceptre, the starboard box is for the gauge panel and the port box is for storage. On the Savage, they are both for storage.

Re: 23 seacraft inboard cc cabin?????

What is the most commen power on these Savages? Are they all IO or are some OB?

Someone post a picture of the whole boat. I would like to see what the lines really look like. I would have thought seeing one of these that they were an after market removal (by an individual owner)of the Tsunami/Sceptre windshield. But you say this was a Seacraft factory supplied version. Pretty cool though...but I agree, chop off the glove boxes.
