Re: How many From CT
Hi Chaz, I'm from Mystic.
|
Re: How many From CT
Does this include parts of Rhode Island annexed by CT?
|
Re: How many From CT
I'm in Westbrook, I think Jim Cutro (sp) is in New Haven. If you look under the gatherings section we are trying to organize a get together in June

Re: How many From CT
I really meant all the CT plates at the seaside housing from Gansett to Watch Hill. Little Compton you need to be a New York resident for that and I think Block Island defintely seems more a part of New York than CT...
When I fish Naps I do see more CT plates than RI And I believe it is pronounced Rho Dyslundh (I'm really a Masshole myself) |
Re: How many From CT
I'm a Cter.I live in Watertown, where there's no water
So I launch in Milford, Clinton, or O/S. I've even launched in Rhody a number of times, where the people are slow and shallow.Oh wait, thats the salt marshes - the people are o.k. - I say we count them in |
Re: How many From CT
I do 50-60% of my fishing out of Masons Island in Mystic
|
Re: How many From CT
Trayder I'm surprized I've never met you on the water. I dock in Stonington at Walker's Oceanside Marina, due north of the west end of Sandy Pt. The name of my boat is Lauren B.What boat do you fish on out of Mason's Island?
|
Re: How many From CT
I am from Noank. I think we still belong to CT.
|
Re: How many From CT
I have a trip planned for up your way July 15 and 16. We are staying at Brewers in Mystic Friday and Saturday nights. That Saturday We will go out to Napetree Pt. to visit my friend that owns 1 of the 2 houseboats moored in the Kitchen. Perhaps you have seen him he has a 26'green Sisi. "Julia".
|
Re: How many From CT
Hey Billy ,how are you? I don't know if Noank is part of this planet, I've seen some creatures down there I swear were aliens.Chaz, I'm not familiar with that boat, but I've seen the house boats in the kitchen.I'm docked on the other side of Sandy Pt.

Re: How many From CT
I am doing fine I think. I believe that boating will not be in my future this summer as hip replacement surgery is in my plan soon. Plus I think the Keeper might be going on the market. Don't know yet but we are discussing it. How's yourself and the boat?

Re: How many From CT
I'm doing O.K. Just getting itchy for the weather to give us a break. The boats hibernating of course, but holding up well.Sorry to hear about your hip.

Out of Pogy Cove, either fish on my 20, or a 27 Contender cuddy named Devil's Fiddle. I am sure I have seen you out @ Watch Hill there have to be 7-10 mid 70's 23CC's in that area. |
Re: How many From CT
I now live in Norwalk, work in New Haven, and will fish anywhere once the ice age passes the Northeast again! I'm gonna auction off my ice scrapers and a bottle of Jack to the guys down south 'cause this year I didn't make it to the Keys and I'm bitter (cold that is).

Re: How many From CT
Trayder ,you've got me stumped where's Pogy Cove, near the Monastery? You probably have seen me out on the reefs. There are 3 guides with 23's in the area, they've all been worked on by Noank Bill or his partner Glenn.

Re: How many From CT
Ah ha, so that's Pogy Cove. I go through the channel there once in a while, never noticed the Contender.
|
Re: How many From CT
Channel? I did not mean to put the Pogy Cove test in the upper left (if you meant up there)
There is an older 23 Secptre in the cove an early 20 Seafari and then on the left hand side of the cove a long dock with a 21 Contender on one side and the 27 on the other. here is a picture from the dock facing out to Fishers There used to be a 26 Intrepid there for many years, it too was named "Devil's Fiddle" and terrorized the area for 10 or so years..... http://newimages.yachtworld.com/1/2/4/6/7/1246793_6.jpg |
Re: How many From CT
Trayder, I gotcha. I meant the channel that runs over to Noank.
|
Re: How many From CT
Jason, that's a nice boat Ross has.

Re: How many From CT
Maybe if I wasn't selling the house. Is he moving up?
|
Re: How many From CT
So Trayder, you must have seen me drifting off Mason Point during the summer. We hit some fluke spots there almost every time we are out.

Re: How many From CT
Scott- who knows what he is doing recently he has been threatening about buying a Yellowfin
NoankBill- We crossed paths last year in front of Mystic River Marine you were on your way out and we were returning for fuel after an offshore trip, |
Re: How many From CT
Trayder:
Nobody ever sees me that far up the river in the summer. Most of the time the boat lives at GLP and I fuel at Ford's. I like using Ford's for fuel because I live in Noank and when we go offshore he has ice by the tote. This year he is trying to kget into the bait end of things which would make it one stop shopping for offshore trips.I think I only went up river twice to look for fluke this past summer. After October I go to Brewers' till I haul which was the 3rd week in January this year. It was cold but I like to go out and check out the seals. Bill |
