A kinder, gentler New Jersey?
The official bird of New Jersey is the middle finger?
A kinder, gentler New Jersey? I think all you CSC NJ guys are terrific. What ever are they talking about? They may want to consider that here in New York... |

“a campaign toward civility, kindness and respect to all.”
Kind of like a big group hug. Finster, I think you should take the lead, starting with all the bulkheaders and clammers in your neighborhood. |

Re: A kinder, gentler New Jersey?
Twenty-six years in the Garden State and twelve here in South Cackalacki. This one is Good.?. Seems I remember a few years ago a governor didn't want you eating runny eggs! Whatever happened to that? Part I and myself were running mad yesterday, trying to get our 350 for the Jersey Skiff from the engine builder. Eight weeks ago, "Can have it built in TWO weeks"! Seven and a half weeks later and down to the wire for the Mt. Dora show. After my "kinder, gentler New Jersey" accent came back, Monday night the rig was ready to be picked up. While running to get it, I was advised this morning that a friend of mine, (Battalion Chief), had pulled out in front of us in an unknown vehicle. He said, " I just know you two were MFing me all the way to the next traffic light!" He was really laughing. Nooooo! Do you think?!? We've logged a lot of miles together and he knows our driving. Pretty funny. What a great state to have grown up in! Have to agree with the State Bird Theory. S.C. is the MOSQUITO. Vezo, Part II.

Re: A kinder, gentler New Jersey?
All the people I know in New Jersey are great people. I just have a problem with their roads. Who wants to go right to go left, poorly marked street signs, that sort of thing. Heading west on one road I passed Valley Rd. six times. I could'nt believe it..PF

Re: A kinder, gentler New Jersey?
PF, what town was it?
|
Re: A kinder, gentler New Jersey?
Probably Little Egg Harbor... Been there - got lost there.
|
Re: A kinder, gentler New Jersey?
You didn't get lost! We only have one road. Where the hell did you get lost?

Good News! I’ve discovered a way of increasing your speed on the banjo without resorting to harmful drugs or distasteful practicing. It doesn't even require that you force yourself to change long-held habits of picking the banjo. After all, you can't teach an old dog new tricks, now can you? For some strange reason, this miracle solution to banjo speed has been omitted from all banjo instruction materials now on the market. Yes, that's right folks. Chewing tobacco makes you perk up and pick. It gives you that uplifted feeling so necessary for proper pickin' of the banjo. Must pickers only have two teeth, that's why they drool while they pick! http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/ae...smiley-020.gif |
