This Gal just can't seem to figure out Where to go shopping ? But when She does figure out where the Market is she'll take more than We want. I'm just hoping there is some( a lot) shear, ~ Watch Which Way The Shear (Upper Clouds) is blow'n & thats a good indicater of where she's going. A fast moving storm (Andrew) is good for little water/ rain, except this one is being blown from such a long distance we'll be in the bands a while.Fast moving ~~ They spawn a Lot of Tornadoes. At least she will be over quick.East bound Hurricane ~~ North East Side,(Direction of course is North) = South side is the bad side(Tornadoes etc.) All is Bad.Tornadoes already in palm beach area. You Fellas in the Key's (Hey Joey was that You I just saw in the back of the P/u truck ? ) Looks like some are still having Fantasy Fest !! Just hook up that SeaCraft & head North if it gets too Bad & launch when needed. At Least You have a Faul Weather Boat to get out !

Well, I've done this drill many times before and frankly, I'm getting sick of this doo-doo Eight storms have hit this state since last year (forget it Finny,I ain't moving to your neck of the woods!!) The SeaCraft is off the lift and secured to my trailer along side the house. Made a trip over to Ikan's house and secured his boat on the lift and removed the cover so it doesn't get shreded

I'll try to keep ya'all informed as the weather deteriates. If I lose power, I'l try the laptop.....
Hang tight Brad,Joey and the rest of the southern crew. Mabe we should all travel a little north and share "no bones" house

Re: Wilma

Next time pack up those Sea Crafts and head to my house in Virginia to wait it out. You are all welcome here. Maybe leave one of those boats here as a loaner? I'm sure all will be fine on this one. Have a freind in Naples and I talk to him every 4-6 hours. Also glued to the Weather Channel. Hey by the way, Stefanie Abrams (WC Chick) is hot if you hadn't noticed. (Hence my weakness.......love everything old. Old boats, airplanes, cars, etc......except women....love the newer models). She gets me through the hurricanes.

You guys will be fine! Counting on it.

It's getting a bit windy now. Sustained winds as of 10:45pm are at 43mph. Storm has been upgraded to a Cat 3. Key West is having the normal flooding on Duval and other parts of the island. I'll keep checking in through the night as long as we have power...been having a few brown outs.

Well the worst is gone! Still have 40+ winds here.Mostly Tree Damage.Only one tree on the house not to bad. All the rest ripped to shred's,I've wanted to trim one tree 30+ ft. for a while,Its done Now !The SeaCraft Survived Payed to pour a 4 ft hole of concrete with a 3/4 logging chain to hold Her down.(originally theft control) . There's Bou' Cou' Tree & roof damage around the neighborhood.Took a quick walk came back got the camera & shot a few pics. My site(frenzie) is down (Getting used to this) So i used a another site I have.Guess I can go out now & start Cutting ! We had little rain otherwise we would've lost every tree, being pushed over. These were just snapped from the force of the wind.Well over 100 mph winds this am substained Gust ? Whew . Noisy in the attic ! Checking for leaks tree damage etc. I brought My dry cell battery in & used in to go on line & Keep My salt water aquarium going. Got to use the ol' camping gear for a while.Underground utilities ! Man0Man can't beat them. They turn em' off for the protection then back on. Only off for a few hours.Hope all are doing as good Thanks for all Your Concerns ! Just Muscle is needed here! She's a "3" now & headed North so You Boy's up There Take care ! Re: Wilma

I'm here...made it through ok. Seamaster's neighborhood had around a 5ft storm surge. Lots of flooding in the lowers keys and no power, phone, or functioning vehicles for most people. Check the link on my earlier post for the fl sportsman forum. The lower keys to a beating from the surge. Later...don't want to use too much battery time on the laptop.

Re: Wilma (Other tom & Captain Chuck?)

Has anyone heard from "the other tom"??I am pretty sure he lives right in Ft Lauderdale. The damage to the area was bad enough to cancel the boat show this weekend. It may be postponed until next weekend.

Anyone hear from Captain Chuck since his last post??? Sounds like he had some damage to his beautiful house.

Ed
