Trailers

I thought I was so smart when I deleted a whole bunch of old incoming e-mails but... I deleted some great contact info and a quote for an aluminum bunk trailer that came from a reference from this site. I think Bobber's trailer came from the same company??? Can anyone supply the name of a good trailer company from down south that ships up to Massachusetts?

You really owe it to yourself to check with Jeff, son of Owens and Sons, in Clearwater, Fla.. Family owned business, his sister answers the phones, and is very helpful. The actual name of the company is Aluminum Slide-On, and a search of either name will get you there.

All custom built to order, and mine was cheaper than the mass produced. Any and all options available. Just talk to Jeff, he most definately knows his business. Even extended tongue 8 inches for me. (That didn't sound so good, did it?).

Highest standard of quality and coincidentally delivered to Savannah upside down in a larger trailer being delivered to local Coast Guard Station. Give them a try, I don't think you'll regret it.

Last bit of advice, any manufacturer you choose be sure to get the new Goodyear Marathons. The best, IMO. Mike.

Hey Capt. Brad,
Just now noticed you are from Homestead. Thats usually where I put in. I go out past the featherbead bank and out angelfish to Carysfort (I used to, this is back in the late 90s before I moved to Maine- Im moving back to Miami).
Your from Louisianne?

Re: Trailers

The trailers from Rolls and Owens are really top of the line. Loadmaster is probably just a notch below, but still well above average.

I have a Road King aluminum trailer which is made in NC, it is very similar to the trailers from Loadmaster and uses pretty much all the same components. After 2 seasons and a couple 1000 miles of trailering, I am very pleased.

I ordered my trailer through Millway Marina in Barnstable.

I'm pretty sure my trailer is the RKAV 18-20.
