Bow Rail

Does anyone here want to buy a "tall" stainless bow rail for a 20' Seacraft?

Re: Bow Rail

Is it a welded SS rail or bolt together?

lee 01-24-2006 03:27 PM

Re: Bow Rail

It is a welded ss rail complete, you can even have the hardware if the price is right

Re: Bow Rail

Wendy, where are you located? I have a complete bow rail minus one stanchion base, that may be around the base of wood pile she has been resting on. Vezo Part II.

lee 02-08-2006 01:05 PM

Re: Bow Rail

No I didnt sell it but mine is stainless and I belive you need an aluminum one for your 73 if you want to keep it original, anyway this rail is a lot nicer than the ones on the older boats, I know I used to have a 69 20'.

Re: Bow Rail

Wendy,
I'll get some pic's out to you later today. All the fittings on my railing were/are SS with set screws, but the bases had 3 holes and the verticals were welded in from teh underside.

Re: Bow Rail

I might be new to the sight, but didnt I start this thread (BOW RAIL)and isnt this young lady responding to the bow rail that Im trying to sell. I think its incredibly rude that you and the other guy are trying to jump in here to try to sell what you have. Why dont you two losers start your own threads to sell your own items, and let me sell mine.

Re: Bow Rail

The bow rail is complete, stainless, and has 4 hole bases, it is very similar to Botapeje's picture above It is in flawless condition, $75. Come pick it up in Jupiter, Fl. Thanks

Re: Bow Rail

Angles share,

Sure, I'll back away, but you are trying to sell a complete, welded rail, she said she is looking for fittings for her rail (that I figure she already has) and you let your thread die for 5 days.

Angel Arse,

Don't get so pissy. People around here jump in here and there and are usually cordial. No one seems to mind much. Spider said he would take it, so why worry. Oops I am sorry to have posted on your private thread, I will start one somewhere else if that is okay with you.

Angels Share-

First: welcome to the site

Second: Grab a cold one and settle down a bit this site is for people to help one another out with their seacrafts

I understand your frustration if these guys were also trying to sell a entire Bow rail assembly but as pointed out Wendy states she only needs the fittings.....

You call someone, other than me, a "loser" again and its off to spidercrab's house with you!!

Re: Bow Rail

Didnt think I cause such a stir trying to sell something here. This bow rail would probably cost at least $200 new, Im selling it because it sucks throwing a cast net over it, right now its up against my fence and I want it out of my yard. Sorry if I dont know the proper etiquette here at Classic Seacraft, I thought once you started a for sale thread that potential buyers should contact the person who started it and arrange a deal. When Wendy first responded to the post she asked what kind of rail it was, I didnt know if she wanted to keep it original or not, because this rail is probably a whole lot nicer than what she has from a 73 boat, and I was somewhat offended that the other 2 guys jumped in to try to sell their items. Sorry if I offended anyone here it was not my intention.
IM glad this site is here Ive owned 3 seacrafts in my life and In 33. Im definitly a fan of the hull design.
Anyway Im sorry if offended anyone.

You're up against the fact that every few months somebody redoes their entire boat and offers to GIVE away the bow rail (or flip-back cooler, or deck hardware, etc) to anyone that wants it for FREE. Search back through the archives and you'll see that what you are trying to sell has been available a number of times in the past to anyone that wants to come pick them up.

While I offered mine to anyone that wanted it, there were no takers so it went into a dumpster in Stuart.

Good luck, just trying to give you some background on how your ad might be interpreted by some.
