Re: First Picture 1974 20 SF
Thanks, I backed it in the garage after that picture was taken and have stripped off the bow rail, hand rail, windshield etc and am putting some shine on it all and filling the cracks etc. I hope to be done for April 1 in case we get some nice days!

Re: First Picture 1974 20 SF
Not sure if you plan on keeping that rail, but i know someone who might buy it from you if its not going back on.

Re: First Picture 1974 20 SF
Nice looking boat swamp, enjoy catching fish on her. Make sure to post some more pics as you get them ;)

Re: First Picture 1974 20 SF
I'm keeping the boat as orignal as possible, so I will be putting the bow rail back on. The lines are nice without it though! Thanks for thought. I will post some more pictures tonight hopefully.

Is that the Grady gulfstream next to the 20 footer?

Re: First Picture 1974 20 SF
Why yes it is! How could you tell from the picture? Or did you look at my profile.

Re: First Picture 1974 20 SF
Good lookin ride. Are planning on running the force outboard?
|
Re: First Picture 1974 20 SF
Here's another picture. I was hoping no one would notice the force! Oh well. It seems to be in great shape and only has 300 hours so I am going to run it till it dies! http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1.../1974SFBow.jpg

Re: First Picture 1974 20 SF
My 20ft robalo came with a pair of 70hp force motors I never ran it with them but the previous owner bought the pair in '94 new and used them until I bought the boat in '03. He said he loved them and had no major problems with them. I have no personal experience with force only OMC and Merc and the mercury taught me a valuable lesson, NO MORE MERCURYS, I'm still trying to recover financially from it. Thats why i'm stuck patching old omcs to keep fishing. Anyway good luck with the force, I beleive it just really depends on which day of the week the motor was built.
