SeaCraft Propaganda

Well my friends have gotten together and decided that I spend way too much time with my boat torn apart and not enought time on the water. They bought this poster for me so I would remember how to put it back together so we could get back on the water and drink some cold beers.
Gotta love em. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...r/Img_0642.jpg

That's funny right there... Boat project and beer are made to be together.

I'd like one of those posters if you can get me one.

I'd like one too. I'm guessing it was purchased on eBay and/or through that company that specializes in boat literature.

Nope,
they found it cleaning out some file folders in an old yacht brokerage.I would have killed for the wall plaque of a 31 Bertram hull, whatever they call those half hull things.Extremely cool.
I guess I could make some large color copys somewhere?

Re: SeaCraft Propaganda

Please if you do that tell me how much !!!

and if you come across a spare 31 hull I'll take that too :D

Make sure you follow the instructions correctly, hull first, deck second, etc, etc.

Re: SeaCraft Propaganda

Color copies would be nice I'll take one. Charge 5.00 over the cost and give the money to the website.

Posters, decals, t-shirts, can coolies, bathing suits (speedo's) sounds like a new business...

FYI, on a related matter here is a link to a cool website. I bought a 1978 catalog from him.

Peter,
That was the company I was thinking of. Looks like he either still has another '78 catalog or he hasn't updated his list yet since you bought one.

Great poster.

Are you going to get copies made?

Let me know I'd gladly pay.

I probably will need it when I take mine apart and hopefully get it back together with all the right pieces in the right place.

Re: SeaCraft Propaganda

PeterB, so you're the one that got that '78 catalog. Congrats... I called to place my order for it, and the man said you had just bought it 2 days before... He apologized that his site still listed it. I own one of 14 '78 Sceptre 20's if I'm reading the production number chart correctly, and I'm starting to compile any and all info on this great boat.

Peter... I'll gladly pay for a copy of that catalog...specifically, anything on the '78 Sceptre 20. The only info I have is from this site.... Carla, do you have anything in that box of literature you said you had??

Re: SeaCraft Propaganda

If i can scan it, I will gladly email you (along with anyone else) a free softcopy.

Re: SeaCraft Propaganda

Dub1309,
I have some catelogs, but they all do not have dates on them. However, I do have a 77 Specifications which has a page or two for each: SF18,SF20,Master Angler 20, Sceptre20,Seafari20,SF23 outboard&I/O, SF23inboard,Savage23,Sceptre23outboard&I/o,Sceptre23inboard,Seafari25,MasterAngler27.
Sceptre20: Centerline 19'8", Beam 7'6", Weight, dry w/o engine 1650lbs, Max total outboard horsepower 175, degree deadrise-hull at transom 16 degrees, fuel capacity 47 gal.
It's 2 pages black & white specs, probably not much difference between 77 & 78. If you want, I can make copies & mail to you...if so, just send me a pm w/ your address. Unfortunately, I don't have a flatbed scanner, and most catelogs don't have the year on them, but the address is in Princeton, Fla, which I think is the 70's. Also have 74 price list & specs..have more, but need to find a scanner...
I'm busier these days working on my new-to-me 65 bowrider, rather than cruising thru these wonderful forums...so just pm me if I can help. Thanks, Carla
