Looks like a nice boat. With only 100 hours on the engine in over five years, the guy sure didn't go boating much :(

Re: 2000 Seacraft 20' with trailer - $19,900
I will find out tomorrow what type of service has been done on the motor over the years. As far as engine hours are concerned, since there is not an hour meter on the boat the owner could only provide an estimate based on his very limited usage of the boat. However, the only real way to tell is to download the ECU. A few of the good surveyors in this area have the Merc software on their laptops and would be able to give specifics. |

The injectors were replaced in April 2001.
Let me know if anyone has any other questions. |
Re: 2000 Seacraft 20' with trailer - $19,900
A bargain for a great "same as new" boat - I have a 2001 SC20 and am very happy with it. The 2000 era SC 20's are based on the very desirable Potter SC 20 MA's with the higher, wider gunnels with open under gunnel space for great rod storage and 'toe space".
This boat is a cost effective way to get a ready to go fishing SC 20 MA that will become a "classic" in time. |

Ed,
Are you sure that's Fighting Lady Yellow? |
Re: 2000 Seacraft 20' with trailer - $19,900
Take into consideration the over cast skies in the photo.
I have sprayed Awl Grip and Gel Coat "FLY" on 5 of my past and previous boats. Depending on who does the tinting the variation is tremendous. I have learned to buy my Awl Grip in the US Paints OEM cans. Most paint shops do the mix with Awl Base tint. My 20 SF is darker, my old 15 Whaler was perfect, as well as my 14 LuCraft. Do not let the paint shop do the mix. See ya, Ken Oh yeah, It looks like "FLY to me, just a hair light. |
Re: 2000 Seacraft 20' with trailer - $19,900
The boat is right outside of my office. It is a pale yellow gelcoat.....whether or not Seacraft called it "Fighting Lady Yellow" in 2000, I am not sure......but whenever I see a boat of this color I (correctly or incorrectly) refer to it as fighting lady yellow.

Re: 2000 Seacraft 20' with trailer - $19,900
You're right. For some reason I always thought FLY was the darker yellow I've seen on a bunch of Seacrafts, including under the blue paint on my Seafari.
Nice looking 20' CC! rockdoc |
Re: 2000 Seacraft 20' with trailer - $19,900
rocdoc, The original yellow in the 70's was Ag yellow
or sunrise yellow. "FLY" became popular after Bob Hewes started gel coating the Bone Fisher in the 80's. It has always been my favorite color of choice since 1972, when I painted my 61 FeatherCraft yellow. If I won the Lottery and bought a 100 footer it would be yellow, "FLY" of course with a "Cream" cap. :D See ya, Ken |
