hey mike- happy new year to ya!i got the hook down cause we are drifting eels back to the bridge pilings- i use the outriggers to keep them seperated from the rest of the flats of course. i am using different size egg sinkers (carolina style) ,the riggers they work wellwith the live eels and a very light clip setting. as soon as or if we can ever get the water temp to drop some more the best fishing is yet to come-

10-4 on the rockfish!!!! striper???? was dat? (if it stays this warm much longer the cobes will be returning and i will be eeling for them too. Hell as warm as it has been , we might even be tarpon fishing before too long,lol-

here are a couple of "rockfish" we have caught within the the last week- first one is a 45" release, 2nd one is a 40" release by my son yesterday and the last one is a 45" 41.5 lb kill. pretty fun for this time of the year.

thanx fk- Ill be sending em back soon,although it looks like the seaside fish havnt even made it here yet although this cold spell should help em along!( all bay fish, no sea lice) Had them to 40 pounds on wednesday, hoping to fish sunday. heres a couple more recent although poor quality pixs.

yeah, I hear that a lot! I'm leaving for FL in three weeks but wifeo being a university professor sort of means that my six months in FL go from March to August (sadly, I have no interest whatsoever in snow sports!). Then again, those months in FL comprise the time my favorite species nibble :D

Ken, I've got the fishing addiction as bad as anyone but I draw the line at fishing in a tent over a 12" wide hole!
