1975 20' Master Angler
Hello all, I've got the "new to me" Regulator in the slip, and it's time for the painful parting with my SeaCraft. Based on the info gathered on this site, 1975 was the introductory year for the Master Angler and there were only 24 built. I purchased the boat in 1993. It's bottom was painted when I purchased it, but I've kept it on a trailer since purchased (as did the previous owner).
It's powered by a strong running 1989 Yamaha 175 that's been maintained by Chris Hale @ Shore Drive Marine in VB. The engine (I know) holds no value at it's age... but with a little work, will last a while longer. The boat sits on a refurbished dual-axle Cox roller trailer. I did a fair amount of cosmetic work to the boat 2 years ago (re-finishing the teak, re-carpeting inside the gunnals, new trim around the console opening, re-attaching the rub rail). I purchased a roll of the molding for inside the deck cap from TACO, but haven't installed it. There's an area behind the two captains chairs where the gel coat has "de-laminated" from the deck, but the deck is solid. I have NOT replaced the gas tank, as there's been no need to do so. The transom appears to be solid (although I've not drilled it to inspect). Basic electronics are included: Horizon Eclipse VHF, Apelco 365 Depth/Fish Finder. It has a second gas line and a kicker motor mount (that unfortunately covers part of the hull ID number). Auto-Bilge and under-gunnal lighting. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...t/100_0386.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...t/100_0387.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...t/100_0390.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...t/100_0388.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...t/100_0392.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...t/100_0393.jpg Asking Price: $5,000.00 (OBO... she HAS to go) |

Re: 1975 20' Master Angler
The shift shaft is GREAT... replaced 3 years ago. The steering arm is in bad shape w/a lot of rust. It's the one major concern with the boat.

Re: 1975 20' Master Angler - SOLD
They say the day you sell her will be one of the two happies days... it ain't true! My girl was sold last night to an outboard mechanic in the VB area. The guy came with a drill and cored the transom (after a little debate.. LOL). Said it was in good shape. He's got a 150 Merc. to replace the existing Yammy, and will repair the steering arm on the Yammy to keep as a back-up or sell.
Glad I'll be able to see her on the water around here. Thanks for all the replies/interest. |
