Emblem-CNC Drawing!
Here’s the CNC drawing of the SeaCraft Emblem....
It’s 1/8” thick, Mirrored Stainless Steel #304, laser cut. Size is approx. 9-1/2” w x 2-1/4” high. Has 5 screw holes for mounting. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j1...ftEmblemSS.jpg Cost is $55 per emblem plus shipping & insurance. 1 Emblem = 55 + 5.50 = $60.50 2 Emblems (1 pair) = 110 + 6.50 = $116.50 3 Emblems = 165 + 7.50 = $172.50 4 Emblems = 220 + 13.00 = $233.00 5 Emblems = 275 + 14.00 = $289.00 With your check, please include your mailing name, and address (if different from what’s on your check). Also, include your member name so I can cross reference it with my list of orders. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j1...CDsAddress.jpg |

Hi Big "H"!!!!!...sorry Don, that was just a typo.
I've made note of these additions. Thank you. Strick, sure you don't need a dozen for your future projects? I'm enjoying all the pictures and admire the work you're doing. Very nice job! Don't forget, a dollar is going to this site for every emblem purchased...so far, over $80 ... not bad! |

Carle,
Do you accept 3rd party endorsed, out of state starter checks? If so my check for 116.50 is in the mail today. Thanks for all of your hard work on this. Now I have something useless to put on my mantle next to my Titanitm connecting rod from my NSX. (not kidding) |
Re: Emblem-CNC Drawing!
I know this is my first post but I have been a long time lurker and admirer of this site.
Carla, thanks for taking this initiative! I would be grateful to be included in this by purchasing (4) total emblems for my 1969 SF20 that I've recently renovated. I still remember the original emblems from my early years on this boat in the 1970's - Fun Times! Money Order is in the mail today. Thanks, Hal |
Re: Emblem-CNC Drawing!
Thank you GroveGuy for your order, and welcome to the site.
One boat, 4 emblems...hmmm...well decorated boat! The checks are arriving...Thank you. Brian (SS shop guy) is going to run one emblem, hopefully today to make sure everything works well with the new design. He has us scheduled for the production run next week. Apparently he is busier than I thought, and with the number of orders coming in (now over 100), the 'run' will take some time (laser cutting each detail). So, anyone is welcomed to add/change their order...there is still time! |
Re: Emblem-CNC Drawing!
Carla,
Great Drawing. I will get my check out in the mail tomorrow. Thanks, -Andrew |
Re: Emblem-CNC Drawing!
my check is on its way for 1 pair !!! Thanks
|
Re: Emblem-CNC Drawing!
Checks in the mail ! Thx Carla ! GREAT JOB ! |
Re: Emblem-CNC Drawing!
Thanks Carla, check is on the way. BTW this emblem is going on a 1998 Seacraft 21, even though it's not a classic.
When the idea first came up, it had Miami, Fla. on the bottom, not classic, and being in Miami it fit right in. Not an issue with me, but do not want to ruffle any feathers on this classic site. I will understand if anyone has an issue with this, and bow out. Speak up now, before I bolt it on. |
Re: Emblem-CNC Drawing!
check is in the mail :D (as soon as the ol lady gets off her arce and gets a stamp, lol.

Re: Emblem-CNC UPDATE!!!!!!!
I met with Brian from the SS shop today & picked up a sample. As you can see, it looks great!
http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j1...r/SSEmblem.jpg The first run, using 1/8" SS did not 'cleanly' cut the "CLASSIC", too thick of a metal for such thin lettering. Not giving up, he tried with 1/16" and it worked! So that's the way to go. (and it is strong) Going with a thinner SS, we can afford the #316 stainless. It was originally what I wanted, but not at twice the price on the 1/8". I know we're all rich, but felt $110 PER emblem was a bit too steep. And I know you all know, how much better #316 SS is and how it will be more fitting to put on our classic boats that will last for another 30-40 years! (these emblems will last too) THE PRICE REMAINS THE SAME, and we're using 1/16" #316 SS. I hope no one is in a hurry for these, as #316 mirrored by the sheet, is a special order and will take approx. 3 weeks for delivery & the production run. But as soon as it comes in, Brian is giving it priority. I know we're all anxious, but I believe it'll be worth it in the end....and as always, anyone is welcomed to change their order due to the changes mentioned here. |

Re: Emblem-CNC UPDATE!!!!!!!
How do most of you plan on attaching them???? Screws, bolts, or rivets??
|
Re: Emblem-CNC UPDATE!!!!!!!
I had planned on using screws but rivets sounds to me like a better idea!just not sure about using aluminum rivets on stainless- do they make stainless rivits?
