Very impressive restoration Serg007, I'm sure you can't wait for the first splash. Spray Rails have made a world of difference for me - surprised more 20's don't have them

I guess you can rename her "Deeper in Debt" now! :D

Mike & Chuck,

Was the boat surgery performed at Wild Fire?

Also, was does a set of those spray rails goes for (including installation)?

Peter

Re: before and after pic's 78 20' sf

From the Pics, they look like the teak spray rails like mine. After talking to Carl Moesly at Anclote, the rails
were an after thought due to the fact that the top section from the original design was cut down. These were done at the factory. Due to the fast entry of the SeaCraft they helped to deaden' the re-entry and reduce spray. They were
put on to last, no doubt about it. I have seen 20's and 23's
with them. I have ridden in both with and without. I will be building a pair to put on the Sceptre. They do make a difference.
See ya, Ken

hey mako man, they were sanded real good, and then varnished,as far as the trailer, got a great deal from tnt trailers out of tampa, 19'-21'disc braakes, all alum, torsion axles, stainless kit, and best of all, deliverered right to where the boat is, for 2743.00 i have there # anyone wants it, mike

Re: before and after pic's 78 20' sf

Hey Mike, the boat REALLY looks awesome. I hate to break it to you, but the varnish on the teak will start to slowly peal off. The oil in the teak has a way of working its way out. I made the same mistake when my boat was restored in
1991. I re-sanded the rails and just keep the teal oil handy
and re oil about every other time the boat goes in the water. Before we had the Anclote gathering I gave them the Snappy Teak cleaning and re oiled. They are a maintence issue, but they do give the boat the look like it is going
50 mph while sitting on the trailer. I hope you have better
luck with the varnish. See ya, Ken
