1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
Hi Guys, I recently moved to Charleston, SC and the boat is still on Long Island. The reason I don’t move it down with me is because I have access to 2 other boats whenever I want. I regret losing her, but know the boat would be loved from anyone frequenting this site. Details below are listed below.
SeaCraft 1984 23 CC, Yamaha 1999 200 HP (used approx 30 hours per year on avg, I estimate 240 hours is on the motor) FF, VHF, GPS, AM/FM/CD, T-Top 1998 Dual Axel Trailer Asking $15,900 SeaCraft http://img106.imageshack.us/img106/7...acraft2bc5.jpg |
Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Serie
do you have any additional photos? I live in Manorville, where is this boat located?

Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Serie
Hi, I will work on getting other pictures from a friend that has taken pictures of the boat in the past. The boat is currently in a friends yard in East Islip and can be shown by him. If you want to take a look at the boat I can put you in touch with him to schedule a day/time.

Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Serie
What shape is the hull in and transom??
|
Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Serie
Please provide me with your friends info. I am originally from East Islip so I am in that area on occasion. ( Ron 516-779-1535. ) I spent this past weekend chasing bass and blues out at Orient Pt. in the Race. The owner of the Nancy Ann, one of the better charter boats out there, has a restored 23 Seacraft. I have never ridden in one but have watched them run off of Montauk and they look impressive.
|
Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
Both the transome and floor have never been replaced, but both are solid. There is a small patch from the previous owner in the front left side of the floor, but since I have had the boat (1999) I have had no issues with that or any other part of the floor.

Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Serie
The Hull is in excellent shape for a 84. Every year since I have owned her before seeing the water the hull was lightly compounded then a coat or 2 of Mcguires flagship was applied.

SnaponRon, I sent you a Private message with contact info to setup a time to see the boat. thanks

Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
Priced reduced to 14,900 or make me a reasonable offer. The reason I am selling is because I moved to SC and would rather not have the boat trasported to down since I have access to 2 other boats.
Thanks, Mike |

****Price Reduced Asking $14,500 *****
I cant believe a 23 cc like this has lasted this long. I have had quite a few blind offers that were low but not to far off from what my bottom line is, so make me an offer I cant refuse. At this price whomever buys her will not be disappointed. It makes me sick to sell her but I have access to 2 other boats down here. A list of equipment that will come with the sale below. E-mail me at mike_mahoney33@hotmail.com for more info. I have a friend showing the boat for me in Islip Terrace, Long Island. Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
Could you tell me the top end speed? It seems like a 200 is not enough motor for a 23.
|
Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
about 35 mph

Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series

Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
Bring her on down, you will enjoy your Seacraft here. Welcome to Charleston!
|
Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
hahaha, thanks man, I am located in Mt P as well. I actually would bring her down but have unlimited access to a 23 cc and 28 ft whenever I want so I figured I would sell her.

Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
Hi all, this boat is on Long Island, NY and is still for sale. I will be bringing it down to Charleston, SC next month if I do not sell her. The boat, motor, and trailer are in great condition (see pics below and list of all options). I have had a lot of interest but no serious offers. $12,900 is my new asking price and a steal for her.

1984 SeaCraft CC
Hi Guys, Well I finally got the boat down to Charleston, SC and took her out for the 2nd time. She was running great then the engine lost RPMs and made a load screetching sound. I am almost positive that a cylinder went, but did not have it looked at yet. I might sell her as is if there is a buyer looking for a deal. Options below. Make a reasonable offer.

Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
Turns out the power head is fine. The problem was the lower unit gear oil was bone dry, so the lower unit went (thank god). The seal was bad on the drain plug.
The reason why I originally thought it was the power head was because when this happened she was still in gear and thats why she didnt turn over and I thought the power head went. I kind of figured it wasnt the power head since she only has about 300 hours on the motor and I meticulously maintain the engine. |
Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
So how much now?
|
Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
$11,500
which will include all accessories I have on the boat. I am in the process of making a new aft hatch. One of them blew off during transport from NY (on I-95) so I am making 2 new ones. T-Top (installed in 2000) Leaning post (installed in 2005) 1998 Dual Axel Trailer Fish Finder VHF GPS (garmin GPSMAP 162) AM/FM/CD (Kenwood) 2 anchors Life jackets ropes e-mail me for more info at mike_mahoney33@hotmail.com |
Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
Is the boat still available, what is the cruising speed and GPH used at that speed. Where can it be seen.
|
Re: 1984 SeaCraft CC with 1999 200 Yamaha SW Series
Yes, it's still available. She isnt a super fast boat, but probably does 38 wide open. I cruise at 28 or so.
I just ordered a new lower unit. I should have it in a couple of days then I will take her out for a cruise. She is located in Charleston, SC now. I had a lot of calls, but no one really comes to see her (maybe 2 people). I would keep her, but have a kid on the way and already have a 2007 28' Hydrosport and a restored 22' Eltro CC at my disposal on lifts on the Wando river ready to go. |
