Vinyl SeaCraft Decals on Ebay
I am looking at rebadging my 79 23SF with similar decals to the Ebay ones. Anyone know who that person is on Ebay. I think forum member "Roger" used someone up where he is. I am getting quotes of $65 for these SeaCraft letters and logos????? Way too high on price locally. I don't have the link, but you should be able to find it immediately when searching. The Ebay font and logo is slightly off, so I'm not going with them.

Re: Vinyl SeaCraft Decals on Ebay

Re: Vinyl SeaCraft Decals on Ebay
I had a local sign shop make mine based on an MS word representation. There is a member here that has listed a sign shop that regularly makes the SeaCraft sticker, which is easier than messing with fonts, etc. I don't recall the name, but a little searching should turn it up.
For the logo, I created a duplicate using Photoshop and photo's that generous members sent to me. I can e-mail the artwork to you if you like. |
Re: Vinyl SeaCraft Decals on Ebay
Danny,
I used the Ebay guy. Because my hull color is dark blue I asked him for white lettering with gold trim. He said no problem. The letters are big (3.6" tall I believe) The whole thing cost me around $25 to $30. It came out fine. I am a happy customer. Peter |

I went with these:

Re: Vinyl SeaCraft Decals on Ebay
Thanks for the responses Roger,Peter, and theHermit. Roger I still have your MS Word SC Artwork document you emailed me. I may go with the KB guy on Ebay for price. He sounds flexable. I will forward him the artwork Roger forwarded to me to see if he can use it.

I noticed that he has logo's in his store, though they seem a little big compared to the letters in the sticker. |
Re: Vinyl SeaCraft Decals on Ebay
I just got a quote from one of my guys locally. It is coming in @ $30. I will check out the proof tomorrow. I am using the ms word copy of the logo and name. The Ebay guys price is pretty close to the same.

Re: Vinyl SeaCraft Decals on Ebay
finally got the SeaCraft decals and logos today. It is a copy of Roger's MS Word document. They cost $35.00. I will take photos to show it on the 23. The letters are thinner than the EBAY SC letters and the Logo is slightly different. The sign Co. made extras, so if anyone wants a pair, let me know.

Re: Vinyl SeaCraft Decals on Ebay
I paid $32. per side from Tracker marine for the Very nice raised shint black letters with metallic gold trim outline, They look awesome, they are the current decals used on the new 25's

Re: Vinyl SeaCraft Decals on Ebay
Ryan, those are great too. Briguy has those also. I paid $35 total for both sides with the old logo, and hopefully it will end up looking like it's original.

The E-Bay site listed above is no longer there, it was removed according to the sign that comes up.

Re: Vinyl SeaCraft Decals on Ebay
I searched it on ebay this week, it's there still....The old link doesn't work. You have to do a search on ebay for seacraft
The ms word document is closer to the original decal IMHO. I have it if you want it.......... |
Re: Vinyl SeaCraft Decals on Ebay
Roger,
Any chance you still have the artwork for the logos? Looked on ebay, but all the ones shown don't have the black/blue two color logo. I have a '75 23 cc that I am restoring. Thanks. Jaybo |

Re: Vinyl SeaCraft Decals on Ebay
I have a couple versions of the logo in pdf format as well as eps format, which is what the sign shop I used wanted it in, if anyone wants them emailed.
Now I made one that was very true to the original, but for some reason the sign shop couldn't use it so I went with another version. It isn't 100% accurate since the 'SeaCraft' is see thru, but this picture gives you an idea. http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q...d/P6210081.jpg |
Bumping an old thread. The original stickers on my 77 Seafari 20 are ~3" tall and ~18" OAL. The starboard side is actually 18.5", but I'm sure the forward mounted 3"x3" "S" square placement makes up that difference. Everything on Ebay seems too large, or too small. I PM'd Snookerd requesting the MS Word file; I would be very appreciative of any other relevant files sent from other users also! Please PM me or reply so I can send my email addy. Thanks all!

Sea Craft logo hull stickers for 78 20' MA
Thanks for bumping the thread JustJohn. I'm looking for a pair of solid white Sea Craft logo stickers for the hull on my MA restoration. When I started on the hull the stickers had already been removed. From looking through old photos of the 78 20' MA, it seems the 78 Sea Craft logo didn't have the "S" box image in front of the "Sea Craft". Is that how they were stickered new? The eBay link (pg 2 of thread) for Sea Craft stickers has the decal size listed as 15" x 3.2", which seems very short (just 3.2' tall) compared to the decals I see on the boats. I'd appreciate a pdf, or any format copy of the actual stickers for the 78 20' MA that I can take to a sign shop and have reproduced in white sticker vinyl. Thanks!

I had these decals made at Lowry's Sign Shop in Lafayette, LA for $25/pair.
I think the lettering is a little big for my 1976 18' but I believe the font and wave logo is good. I can forward the information if anyone is interested. Thanks |
