how well do the scuppers work? It looks as if you have them below the waterline, does the deck still drain at boats' rest?

Best,
CDC

I have been thinking of installing some of those too.

Where are you going to install the bait tank?

I need to get one and just have not decided on a location to install.

Cheers,
Greg

Im going to install the bait tank under the rocket launcher. 27 gallon kodiack.

And the scuppers work quite well, about 80 percent of the time.

I always love to see pics :) She's lookin' good!

Your scuppers reminded me though of something I was wondering. I have never seen ball scupper on new boats. Do they just put in higher decks and flap scuppers on newer boats (of any brand)? or ???

I have an '86 twin to your boat and I'm a little disappointed with the ball scuppers. I wonder if the transom angle doesn't allow the ball to sit properly.

Hmmm.....well, is water coming in....or just not draining out?

HatTrick,

Just a suggestion, but try adding a wegdge type device under the inside top of the ball cage. The intent is to not let to ball float as high or as much towards the stern as it can without the wedge.

I saw this approach on Roger's MA and he thinks it's a good modification. I think he uses small strips from the circumference of a piece of PVC pipe cut to a lenght that will fit inside the cage piece.
