Not much to do with this one, we have water and electric on each site - bathrooms hot showers and washer dryers 100ft away - grill at each site although standard State issue -just food and adult beverages - you will need a stern anchor - great place for yakkers as there are many Yak only areas

Fishing- amazing flats fishing availble - Trout Reds and snook
This will be the height of Kingfish season and the hot spot is right there, so bring rods that can handle 2 lb Blue Runners for bait - grouper will also be available that time of year within reasonable distance 10 to 20 miles

I still have 1 campsite available thats not been spoken for right in the middle of the action :D

Skip & Carla (65 Bowrider) plan on coming, If Snookered (Danny) has two on his site, they may have to take you up on your site. My daughter and son-inlaw plan on joining us.

Check their web site, the biggest thing is too many cars but there is extra parking. I think they allow 2 tents per site but its usually too many cars that warrents them to stop by because it blocks the road. Otherwise they are really cool and never bother anybody.

Now that I've got trailer back in shape, I will probably tow over on Friday and just anchor out on the boat. I'm pretty well self-contained with Magma grill, sink, shower, head, bunks, etc, so don't need a campground spot. (Love that Seafari versatility!) I have a canopy I can bring if anyone needs it. The NE end of campground "island" looks fairly well protected except from N-NNE. Is it fairly deep around that island where I could move to south side in case we get a strong N. wind? Also is there a beach around the campsites or a seawall? Had the impression it was a seawall from earlier thread. (Anchorage could get a little rough with waves bouncing off a seawall!) Denny

There is a seawall behind the campsites as long as its not
huricane force winds the cove behind the campsites is wind resistant verry well pretected.

Bush - no worries on the cove, deep and protected even from the north and NE. We will be there Fri night in any case so you will have access to tie off at the seawall for the bathrooms.

Tom and I should be there for this one as well. We will stay on the boat again. I do not think my 27 will be there though, added more to the project at the fiberglass shop. We will be in the yellow Pursuit again.

Things seem to moving along well with the folks getting back together from our prior Anclote group. At 2 months to go, we already have Eggsuckindog, No Bones, Bushwacker, 65 Bowrider, Toddslures, and I will be at site 188.
Northern Guys-Glad to see your watching another successful event unfold :D, you guys are invited as well..........Ask OldBluesPlayer if it's worth the trip. Finny, we will even stock a full supply of VS's and Arbor Mist for ya if you head down here. The flights are around $250 out of Boston or Manchester.

It's amazing what "extras" can be included when the party has a road to get to the camp site instead of it being on an island!

Yea, it's alot easier to work on projects where we don't need those propane heaters to keep our projects from icing over :oThank the Lord we don't have to store our boats for the winter :D

We finally got a 'dog sitter' for our pooches! So now we can definitely come.
ESD - Is your campsite still available for Fri & Sat night?

I just checked with reservations & they are fully booked for that weekend. :(

Don't NEED a campsite with a Seafari! Just anchor out off the seawall - that's what I'm gonna do. That cabin is very comfortable, and bug proof too if you use the velcro/screen on the hatch. Get a Magma grill with rodholder mount and you're all set!

Never had a problem with bugs there by the way, there should be off water sites since we have most of the water sites already you don't need one.

Get a Sunshower, tie it to light bracket on windshield or lay on top of open windshield, stand/sit in the stepdown and shower away. May have to hang some towels from top if you want some privacy! (or just wait till it gets dark!) :eek:

Just an idea but why not pull the boat 4' to the seawall, step off and walk over to the showers maybe another 75', I know this sounds kinda simplistic but.....

OK Sam, Thanks for the Home-Ed tip :o

On the otherside, How about for Friday night we all bring
your own steak of choice and a covered dish. IE: Potatoe salad, Macaroni, Baked Beans, etc. We could have a pot-luck
dinner with all that are there.. Just a thought.
