The boat was restored in 2002, new transom, Nida Core Decks, New Stringers, re-gelcoated, pretty much everything but the hull was replaced. Since then it has been used and in some cases used hard because that is what it was built for, fishing, diving, towing from RI to Key West you get the idea, this is not a marina queen otherwise the price would be in the mid 20's there are nicks and chips and cracks and one of the hatches in the bow needs some love etc.

It is a great boat and I have enjoyed it for the years I have had it she always draws a comment at the dock and always brings me home but it really was meant to be used and not be a yard ornament (albeit a pretty yard ornament)

Here are a few pics (some a few years old) and I will put more up detailed recent pictures soon:

Jason,

She is a good looking boat and you have put a lot of hard work in restoring her.

As mastermind of this wonderful site, I sure hate to see you sell your one-and-only SeaCraft! But then I can understand your reasons.

It will just be a sad day when you sign the papers.

Heck, I could have just bought yours and saved a lot of time if I had known ;) Sorry to see you selling her. I hope you are looking for another project boat.

BTW your boat has been my model during the restore of my 1969 20sf.

ScottM got it and he used it for a wood pile cover and then a paint drop cloth. Then I heard he ran out of Pampers when Kylie came on board

Currently, I think Finster was out of work and tried part of it on the Barbie

Sorry to hear that you are selling it. We all know how much time you have into that boat. I was only on it once....but felt safe and secure and as Big Shrimpin mentioned...the flush deck is very, very sweet.

So you guys gonna buy her? jeepers I saw all the replies and about called the bank.

I have had a decent amount of calls for more updated pictures and hopefully those that asked read this as i will have them up by Next weekend.

Not that it matters but I already have another 20 sitting in my yard and access to keys for (2) 23 CC's so I am by NO means getting out of seacrafts. I just do not want mine to depreciate to nothing while it is not being used.

My goal was to hold out for a 23' (i already had a nice 20') but after going through your refurb portfolio, I'm second guessing that. I wanted to go bigger for the family but hell, they liked my old boat too. I understand cosmetic cracks, knicks and things like. Those are all things I can live with. You haven't had any issues that would be of concern though, have ya?
The duel livewells is something I really love but curious as to the dumps for those. How do those drain? I had issues getting mine to drain, so I just used it for storage and installed an above deck well under the post. Do your's have overflows or are they drained by pumps? Sorry if that sounds dumb, I'm just curious.
I am a Suzuki man too....... :D
Damn.......I'm talking myself into this for sure. On top of that, I could own the creator of CSC.com's boat, for crying out load. I'll call ya tonight.....

PS: You also mentioned additional/recent pics. andrew.johnson@americhaseservices.com if ya please ;)

there are a few seacrafts on the property, that 20 and then there is are (2) 23's that frequent as well. Again I am NOT getting out of seacrafts just this one.

I'm the lucky buyer; I don't know how I'm going to wait it out until next Spring. If I were to tear it apart..move things around...put it back together, then I could post a photo-documentary. But, I'd have to title it "Changing a Silk Purse to a Sow's Ear".

Re: 1969 20 SeaCraft CC 2003 140 Suzuki w/ Trailer

The boat will live at our house on Champlain, but will have lots of trips to the Cape and Narragansett Bay in between sailing races. The impetus to buy was for fly-fishing the Vineyard and CCB. The only addition I'm sure of right now is to put in some under-gunwale rod holders.

You should not have to do anything to that 20SF, other
then giving it your personal touch. :D

Good Luck with her, Ken
