For you So /East Florida Seacrafters...
The Discount Marine store on Monterey Rd Just east of Kanner Hwy here in Stuart is closing it's doors. The sign out front says everything must go @ 50% off. They always had great prices anyway. I have bought bu-cu stuff for both my refurbs there. They have teak, wire, hatches, anchors, rail hardware, vents, pop-up cleats, gauges, pumps, steeing, fiberglass, safty equip, stainless hardware, rope, painting, hoses and trailer parts. Most stuff is new and /or good used condition. It sure beats West/Boat US prices ;)

Businesss name "Discount Marine Stuff" It certainly is not as large as Marine Liq in Ft Pierce but I think it has much better prices coupled with the 50% deal it's worth a look. The store is about the size of a West or Boatersworld.

You other local guys who have been here please chine in :)

Thanks to Capt. Chuck and the heads up on this establishment the 1 x 4 lenghts of teak are almost gone thanks to 65 bowrider and myself. There are still and of items left but pikens are getting slim. Also Bushwacker helped in depleting some of the supplies. Like Capt. said if you get there do so. :) FYI Capt. the teak is go to the splash well to make C J more Gucci. :cool:

I stopped again today (it's a sickness) scored a raycor filter, bronze wool, stainless rivets, extra wiring harness for the trailer and some rubber toggle boots. Spent $25

PS: I saw some stoltz rollers for $12 and still plenty of stainess hardware and electrical and pumps. Don't browse too fast, dig thru the shelves and boxes you'll find some goodies. Check out the spark plugs for your engines and there is still some good prices on fiberglass, plexi,lexan and starboard pieces. You can even deal on some of the stuff for less than 50% :eek:

Ken,I know that part of the river,chased a lot of spot tails in that neck of the woods when I lived in Volusia County!I should probably get my butt up their now,if I remember correctly the fishing should be getting pretty good this time of year.

Thanks again for the tip. Got some teak for my console windows, yes it`s a sickness. Thinkin of doin a little inlay work. Not like that compass rose. Damn that`s pretty.

Picked up a livewell pump and washdown hose.

Also SCORED a 17p mirage plus prop. Very nice prop and price.

Still some teak left....

Matt, that photo was taken by Patti from the public dock
just south of Goodrich's Seafood Restaurant on River Road
which is now owned by Larry Csonka. Seminole Rest is in the
background. While we were starting construction on our home we lived in a single wide at Lefil's fish camp for 7 month's, it was great. Basically could tie the flats boat
to the bumper of the mobile... :D
The photo I believe is your friend's Castaway Lagoon & KP
Flats as it is known. There is Lopez's fish camp to the north which also has a bunch of trailer's mostly seasonal
snowbirds.

Joey, It is getting prime time in the Lagoon right now.
Next time you are coming up let me know we can hit some of
those world famous flats. :D
