Back in the GAME!!!
Not even 2 weeks after I closed the deal on my boat with forum member "loon" I too closed the deal on another SeaCraft. Its an addiction but certainly not a curse!!.
It is a 1986 18 CC with a 1993 Yamaha 130 and a newish roller trailer. The boat has actually been featured on this web-site a few years back when the owners of it were giving me a hard time for having my other boat on a town mooring....I know that sounds odd but the previous owners were the POLICE. I was a tad ticked it did not come with the light bars and sirens but what can you do? The plan is to re-sell the boat this spring but it will make a great project form myself and the crew at Viking Marine who is contracted to do most of the work. I will do my best to photo document the work and will be listing the boat for sale come spring time. Here she is: http://www.classicseacraft.com/UW/IMG_0076.jpg and here she was after pulling me over a few years ago: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...C/Police18.jpg |

WTG Jason, Sorry you did not get the lightbar. :(
Just be glad it did not come with 7 ft. Captain that is running the boat.. :o You know what ! I will get you a lightbar if you promise to pick it up on April 11 or 12 at Long Point :D See ya, Ken |
Re: Back in the GAME!!!
Nice score J. Though, if you needed a project I could have helped you out....
Yeah too bad about the lights, I'll check with enforcement at work and see if I can get you some. At least you managed to finagle those nifty shorts. :D |
Re: Back in the GAME!!!
Glad you picked that one up and it found a good home. I was looking at it a few weeks ago, but 1600 miles is a long way to drag a boat.

Re: Back in the GAME!!!
Glad to see it Jason. My Yankee-Trader mind is already working on some little trades we might make.

Re: Back in the GAME!!!
Glad to see the old girl ended up in the right hands, especially after the verbal abuse she suffered in the Newport Daily News article about her replacement.Love those 18's.
