I thought it is a bit pricey

And he says the engines are from the Marine Patrol what are the hours on them?

Smokin Crack! Nice boat and all, and a rare find, but come on... It's like that 27' center console, the guy wanted 25K and it sat for 2 yrs and was fianlly sold on ebay for 11k.

That boat will be there a while...
I am not a Johnson expert, but I believe those are carbed. I bet it eats a little gas :o.

He said it was former Marine Patrol Maybe I ran it. We had one we got from NMFS and I ran it for awhile then it went in for re power and never came back.

My `96 150 ocean pro is carbed. Burned 38 gal on a little more than 1/2 day run n gun trip last fall. Got more anchor line at Dania and plan on more wreck fishing.

I have twin '96 Ocean Pro 175's on the 25 Parker I run for work. Their great running motors and all, but I can burn a 100 gals in the drop of a hat.

That's why I want to put twin merc XS 250's on my seavette. :D

I am guessing that the boat should do close to 60 miles per hour and that she sucks down around 1.4 miles of gas per gallon (if that).

I have twin 200 0X66's and probably average around 1.7+ miles per gallon.

Good thing gas is going to be so cheap this summer.

I would think a bit more than that. The boat came out of the factory with twin 235 evenrudes and topped out at 74mph. So with twin consumer racing 250's, set up properly, I'm thinking it should do 80+ mph.

And to think JohnR could have experienced that when he bought his 23 CC a few years ago.
