Re: '73 23' Potter built for sale

Where is the porta potti?

How many engine hours?

What is cruise speed/mpg?

Thanks, I live in Beaufort and in Charleston regularly.

Re: '73 23' Potter built for sale

Forgot to mention 2 Penn downriggers with swivel mounts, rod holders, and gimble mounts.

Potty is in floor compartment in front of console (loose).

No hour meter but low hours. Major maintenance within last three months.

Cruise around 30, max in low 40's. Last ocean trip was 167 miles burning 80 gal. in 3-4 kind of sloppy. Usually 2-2 1/4 mpg

Thanks!

has the transom been replaced/fixed? Is there also a smaller livewell in the floor? thanks

Old'sCool 06-11-2008 08:52 AM

Re: '73 23' Potter built for sale

Transom replaced, Stainless Marine bracket added, floor live well removed. Included is a 40+ gal. removable above deck live well. I live bait a lot mostly menhaden and this system works great.

I'm ready to sell this boat. Priced to sell at $26,000 and will include an ACR GlobalFix 406 Epirb and ACR ditch bag. 3+ years left on battery. That's $1500 off asking price PLUS the best Epirb out there.

Re: '73 23' Potter built for sale

amazing...with what is going on with the economy, housing and fuel, you would think it would be a buyers market for houses and boats...but as someone pointed out earlier on this thread or another, quality sells- even in bad markets. I have been looking for the right boat for months, and kept coming back to this one...the seller has been phenomenal with pictures, info, etc. I haven't recieved the boat yet, but would extremely suprised if I was not totally excited.

At first glance, I thought you were asking $25k for the gps! In any event, that is a nice looking boat. I am sure it will sell soon.
