New private boat club
Ladies and Germs-
As many of you already know, I sold my beloved boat, ventured out on my own and started a private boating club called, The Navigator Club. The Club is designed for people who enjoy being on the water and appreciate fine boats, but don't have the time or energy to deal with traditional boat ownership. The club takes care of everything including insurance, dock fees, maintenance, storage and parking. A member only needs to pay for fuel used. The club is based at one of the finest marinas in Boston, Constitution Marina and features quality boats by Grady White, Boston Whaler and other top manufacturers. In order to provide a high level of service & fair access to the fleet, only a limited amount of memberships are available. For anyone that is interested, I have an informational pdf that I can send to you that gives more details. In the coming weeks, the club's website www.thenavigatorclub.com will be fully functional. If anyone has questions, please feel free to have them call me at 617-880-2525. Lastly, in early May, I will be hosting an open house at the marina. Let me know if you're interested in learning more about this event. Thanks for your time and support. Sincerely, Capt. Ed Mancini www.thenavigatorclub.com |

Boatapeje-
Yes, I know Scouts very well. I have a connection with the local Scout dealer here in RI and Ed takes his boats there for service. At this time there is a Scout 242 leftover that is going for Invoice, I think Ed knows this, and I was playing salesman and pushing it on him for his new endevour half kidding. |
Re: New private boat club
Jason, Finster-
Thanks for the kind words about the website and company. I used some of my past marketing experience and did the writing and editing but was fortunate to find a great design firm in Portsmouth, NH and an excellent web site developer on the Cape - both of whom did the heavy lifting by making everything look very professional. Right now, I am good on boats. When I get some more members added to the club, I will be looking to add to the fleet. The only bummer is that our mutual friend Scott at Viking Marine is not located closer to the club. He is such a talented mechanic and I was always felt safe going too far out in the ole' Mako. In any event, when I do get another personal boat..it will again be trailered down to RI so that he can take care of it. |
Re: New private boat club
Awesome website there Ed....congrats on the new venture, and best of luck....

Re: New private boat club
Thanks Tom! Nice to hear from you. I hope all is well with your biz and your family.
When Father Frank was talking about going 75mph on one of his old boats last week, it brought back memories of the four of us blasting down the ICW on your Whitewater at mach 6. |
