look what I found.
I went to an auction with the intention of buying some of the fishing gear up on the block. When I arrived I found this. Spent the whole day there waiting for the auction to start for the boat and at days end I pulled her home.

Great find. Pretty unique slashwell. I like that it doesn't intrude into the cockpit.

Re: look what I found.
The boat has a very classic south Dade / Keys guide set up. Tall windscreen, custom engine shroud and plenty of rod holders. It looks like Ralph Delphs' original 20'. The boat needs some TLC but the price was so good I have plenty of room. I am concerned about the fiberglass tank now that e10 has hit south Florida.

I love the bait station splashwell. That setup allows you to stand upright and chum like a gentlemen.

Ken, my inlaws live in Oak Hill. I visit every thanksgiving, if you're around I'd love to see your boat. I usually fish the lagoon on Friday so maybe Saturday.

unreal steal and a MA at that, I have a door that goes there but never put it in as the dog and everybody needs to get out and I can't trim the motor for shallow water. Must have been used around deep water all the time. |
