Re: FISH PICTURES
Hi Capt. Chuck
I got a few spots in Miami that you can catch your limit in no time on a few drops. Last week I was bring up a stringer full and a 150 lb hammer head grabbed one tile fish and got him self hooked in the tail with one of the circle hooks. Well after 1 ½ hrs. of trying to get him he finally came up to the top and I let him go. But during that time I sure was hoping it was a big grouper. FellowShip Just for the Grins :D |
Re: FISH PICTURES
Would you care to share that spot or at least take me on one of those?

Re: FISH PICTURES
Very nice Ken,
Great to see that you use your rig as a fishing boat. That's what they are made for, aren't they? Nothing like some fresh fish blood & guts on the deck. Peter |

Re: FISH PICTURES
Fellowship,
Great Pix. Reminds me of the time you put me on a great Sail fish that talwalked like crazy before dumping the spool on us. Boy was it rough that day! |
Re: FISH PICTURES
Hi Baiguy;
Good hearing from you. I remember that day and really felt bad about loosing that sail. I thought that rod had more line on it and I moved to slowly to start chasing him. That was my brothers spinner and I thought he had put some spectra backing on it. The sail in these pictures fought a lot like the one you had on that day. I have 300 yards of spectra on my spinner and ended up chasing him to regain about 200 yards as he jumped and tail walked about 150 yards of line non stop. FellowShip Just for the Grins :D |
Re: FISH PICTURES
Hi Strick
If you want Weird and Ugly check out this Oil fish I caught a while back. I was in 1,200 feet of water fishing for Swords http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...55065_1298.jpg http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...61655_9740.jpg FellowShip Just for the Grins :D |

Re: FISH PICTURES
I believe the oilfish is a close cousin to the patagonian toothfish, otherwise known at chilean sea bass @ $24.00/lb. Too bad the oil fish tastes like it sounds.

Hi Briguy
People tell me they also make for a great laxative if you are having problems with your personal bilge in the mornings. FellowShip Just for the Grins :D :o ;) |
