SAve the Tsunami!!!

I had just got into town and was heading to pick up one of our dogs from the vets, when I noticed a familiar windshield at a boat "junk"/Storage lot. They ave a 78 23' Tsunami that was being used to hold scrap parts, The hull looks decent, bottom is ok the starboard side has some gouges and needs minor surface work in a few spots, the Boat was originaly an I/O mercruiser small cut out, and currently has no outdrive or engine, it would be a geat boat and easier job for a solid transom w/a bracket. Yes it could use a transom and I could not check the floor. The original engine hatch/ cover is there. Has windshield though the very center portion was replaced with Plexi. No cabin door or hatch lid, I did jump around on the front deck over the cuddy and it is good and solid. He would take $300. for it and he has a title. Let me know if you are interested it is a serious project but has Awesome potential. No trailer but he has a galv one somewhere for 200, he said would work though it might be rough. I'll post when I see it as I will pass by his other yard where it is stored this Saturday.

I could have sworn the transom date was 76 or 78 but the right side glove box door said Tsunami.

Sounds like a perfect "SAVAGE" conversion project. If I did not all ready have two 23's, I would junp on this one.

I'll ask him to show me the title when I stop by. I have bought and sold boats to him before and he usualy won't touch one w/out a title.

Boat is in New Port Richey, I will try to ensure there is a clean title by end of week.

Its a great thing to find a classic in an out of the way place I found mine in a used car lot (back in the weeds)
What a sight that was, Because the week before my 1972 SF that was 80% completed was STOLEN, talk about depressed. And than BAM there was my next boat a week later. In the weeds full of trash and a family of rodents living in the live well. And now she's back and better than ever. :D

1The Guy is not sure where the title is and will let you pull parts off. I gave him $40. and grabbed hatch covers and teak, and the cabin hatch, and some items I needed for mine. The windshield is complete, if anyone needs, and this would be a GREAT opportunity for someone to make two small cuts and remove the transom cap to have to make it much easier to to enclose your 23 transom and make it look very original. Also the inboard/ outboard engine cover is all in one piece,
