Re: I need a bigger boat !
Hey Nick;
You've got a decision to make: Get a bigger boat or, use smaller bait! Your choice! Nice catch. The women love you and the fish fear you!!!! What a guy. |
Re: I need a bigger boat !

Re: I need a bigger boat !
Hey Nick,
Let's be serious for a moment. What I (we) want to know is just how you managed to get that 750 lb. slob onboard?? I mean, I watched a video on youtube of a big fish (600 lb range) being boated by 4-5 guys on a substantial sportfishman and they had all they could do to get it onboard in a half hour. Don't get me wrong, I have NO doubt that you did it, just how did you do it is the question. |

Ohhhh, so that's not an 18ft Seacraft?? ;) NICE fish though. Sort of pays for the trip...

Re: I need a bigger boat !
I saw some pictures of this on another forum this morning. The fish was brought over the side with a block and tackle off the t-top lifting the head, then three guys lifting the tail over the rail. The boat didn't even seem to be listing to the side with the fish and three guys on the rail, very impressive.
Amazing, amazing fish! |
Re: I need a bigger boat !
I was not aboard on this trip and Jimmy did not call me? ;)
He knows i would have thrown that pig in the boat faster than Hancock :D So he had to do it the old way, 3 Greek boys! That SeaVee is also a pig, talk about stable!!!! http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/...9/IMG_0506.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/...9/IMG_0507.jpg |
Re: I need a bigger boat !

Re: I need a bigger boat !
So it wasn't the "Not-so-Old Man and the Sea"!
|
Re: I need a bigger boat !
It's amazing how a bottle of ouzo can make greeks do extraordinary things.

Re: I need a bigger boat !
One other thing. If you think watching a fish go over the rail of this boat is amazing. You should see the owner towing it down 1-495 with an F350.

Re: I need a bigger boat !
Hey Trident,
You don't happen to be the owner of that F-350, are you? |

If you do, call the cops :) as Jimmy drives a "pre-Obama" Chevy 2500HD duramax ... |
Re: I need a bigger boat !
Yesterday around 5:30pm I got the chance to see this boat as I drove by it on 139 in Marshfield. This thing is a beast! I'm amazed he can comfortably tow it with that 2500HD. I would think a 1-ton dually would be better suited for this rig. Beautiful boat.

Re: I need a bigger boat !
I'll let Nick post some pics and details from yesterday's adventure.
