Re: Almost finished with the console.
I see at least five arguments to be made in the interest of passenger safety! Be ready with them when she sees the receipts! :D :D :D

Re: Almost finished with the console.
What receipts?????
All of us seasoned liars... I mean professional restorer's know how to conveniently lose those cumbersome receipts. One advantage to have been in the cash register business for the last 35 years... I make my own! That a boy Don, you learn fast. See ya, Ken |

Stick, we are seasoned professionals at this.. :D With 4 SeaCrafts and 3 other boats on the property, Patti has lost track of what is what. You gotta love it.. Just make sure they are all of different color. Merry Christmas, Ken |
Re: Almost finished with the console.
Ken, You and ESD both make excellent points and are correct!!!! The idea is to spread it out over time and have differenf projects going at once.......kinda the baffle with BS routine. When you have a transom replacement, windlass install, electronics improvement, rebuild of the console, etc., etc. it gets confusing for them. However to be quite honest, I really don't want to know the actual $$$ amount either.

Santa SNEAKING in boat parts.
Sorry for the continued High-jacked thread, but the above got me laughing and I can't resist.....
Sneaking boat and motor parts past the wife, also carefully & creatively "cooking the books" on the prices is half the fun of restoring boats!! My wife thinks, SST props cost $35, and my new lower unit was on sale for $89---What a Deal!!! I know I'm safe w/ my admissions here...on CSC. She would never look here on as she would say "that boring boat site" after all she is on FACEBOOK 24/7 with all of the rest of the wifes/sorority girls....geees. Those are some of my best "sneaks" Anybody else go some good ones??? |

Re: Almost finished with the console.
Nice Job Bro! Just remember I know what you paid and I live right around the corner! I'll keep it on the down low if you do the same! Another prop just showed up at the door step last week but Levi knows to just take it out to the shop before mom finds out. Wasnt so lucky on the 2 new reels that showed up on friday! Fuel flow meter installed yesterday. I got a bad case of the summer time itch! I think calm winds and warm days should heal it! No cover pics?

Re: Almost finished with the console.
I know about the "itch"!!! It's absoutely perfect today in the Keys......so the itch is getting worse. Sorry, but how was work today??
