Fishing Buddies
Hi Guys;
I am looking for some fishing partners here in South Florida either my boat or yours. Not a Club but a loose nit group of guys, SeaCraft boaters wanting to get together on the water with a fishing rod in hand. I tend to fish Broward, Dade, and Monroe counties. In Miami out of Krandon Park for Sail fish, or bottom fish around Fowey light. In Broward out of Port Everglades for Sword fish. I also do deep dropping for tiles and such like. Kind of reading the conditions and fishing for what seems the best in any given day and season. My boat is set up for off shore fishing but I have done lots of fishing out of 10,000 isles in the past. Send me a private e-mail if interested in Hooking up. http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...77509_9015.jpg http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...59040_6530.jpg http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...52286_8864.jpg http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...52284_7475.jpg http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...77509_9015.jpg http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...77506_7757.jpg http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-..._55037_498.jpg http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._5281332_s.jpg FellowShip . Re: Fishing Buddies
I'm heading out this afternoon for tiles & some day drops for swordies followed up with a few night drifts. And if all else fails wait for sunrise & be the first offshore for fins. I'm just east of you & always looking to get out! The next few weekend look too busy but after that I'm game.

FellowShip.
I spend a better part of the summer in Marathon. It is a bit of travel time to Miami and for you to me in the Keys - but fishing time is fishing time. If summers are good for you lets get together. Tucker |
Re: Fishing Buddies
Hi Copout:
Sounds like a plan. I went daytime Sword fishing off the Hollywood hills about 2-3 weeks ago by myself used my deep drop reel down to approx 1200 ft. no hits in approx 3 hrs and then the winds picked up and seas became 3-5 so I called it a day. I want to start picking up on day time Sword fishing more often I like fishing during the day. Send me a Email with your phone # and well talk http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...82674_2002.jpg http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...52285_8183.jpg http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...55065_1298.jpg http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...63096_5839.jpg FellowShip . Re: Fishing Buddies
Here's my fishing buddy, Looks like you guys got the fishing down to a science. I'm still trying to get the fundamentals down, and I definitely don't have the tackle for swordfish or deep dropping, But I do have a pretty flexible schedule and would be interested in figuring something out. At the lest we should start networking as we are very close, I moved to Davie last summer.

Fellow Ship,

Re: Fishing Buddies
Hey Spidey,
That guy in the coonskin cap better not stand to take a leak in that "boat." He'll either electrocute himself hitting the battery or a puff of wind will capsize the sucker!! |
Re: Fishing Buddies

Re: Fishing Buddies
Hi McGillcuddy;
Sorry I did not get back with you sooner been busy and no time to play. Like Copout said its called oil fish. and for me they taste just about as good as they look just like sh**. The younger guy in the picture wanted to bring it home against public opinion on the boat that night. FellowShip . Just for the Grins :D Official Antique Classic SeaCraft Owner |

Re: Fishing Buddies
Isn't oil fish called "white tuna" in sushi joints?

I think Strick said that was 1st year Vet school. Never open a practice next to ANY Asian Restaurant. So sorry your cat not make it. You like cocktail? An old friend from Vt. is invading 4-12 - 4-17. We`ll call you. He`s put me on the spot. He`s never caught a Sail and has demanded satisfaction. He`s perfect for this crowd. He pulls a little red wagon with a sounder and battery on the ice, and when he marks fish he drills. :cool: I get to use my Gramp`s LC Smith when I visit. The Turkey are everywhere now. The youngens don`t hunt, and the flocks are huge now. He got 68 Tridge in season last year too. I did say "in season". Cheers, Sandy |
