Tournament 27
1986 SeaCraft Industries Tournament 27 project,
The link below shows about the current state of the project. I have about 70 - 80 of the materials needed to complete the wiring and plumbing. All the thru hulls and hardware are Gem Lux products all stainless steel. Everything on this boat is brand new. I have a double bow t-top with Top Gunn mounts and 18' outriggers with double clips on each, brand new Birdsall leaning post, the bow rail is not new but could be powder coated, left off, or whatever. I have added a bow stop to the trailer not shown and have the bunk slicks for the bow bunks, all the brakes, bearings, bearing buddies, etc. are all brand new on the trailer, maybe 100 miles on them never been dipped in any water. I am asking $30k for everything including the trailer and all the parts I have. Call Todd, 321-377-3464 or send me an e-mail trr1rigs@att.net http://www.classicseacraft.com/forum...rt=&PHPSESSID= |

Re: Tournament 27
 :o :(
Man-O-man, This should NOT be!! You're on the home stretch for God's sake..... Here I thought that we would have the "27 Duo" at future gatherings! See ya, Ken |
Re: Tournament 27
I can`t imagine my little friend leaving, that is such a fantasmic redo. Something must be done.

Re: Tournament 27
Can I borrow some $$$$ Ken?? That is probably the most badazz SC I've seen.

Re: Tournament 27
There are some before pictures as well on the galleries page. I would love to have the 27's at future gatherings but I feel there is a storm coming my way and I need to do what I can right now. There was no expense spared on this project it is practically a brand new boat. My asking price dies not come close to the money or time I have put into it. I could help with delivery to. I will have another one at sometime in the future.

Re: Tournament 27
Beautiful work...just remember storms always blow over!!!

Re: Tournament 27
Todd, I'm with the others...By all means, keep this in the garage on ice and hold on! However, I'd be interested to know what size fuel tank you have in this? Any place for an in deck livewell? Thanks, Steve
|
Re: Tournament 27
Steve - She holds 375 gallons in two tanks, there is a live well in the transom that is about 55 gallons and there is a fish box in the deck that can be used as a live well to, it is about 100 gallons both are insulated to. I also have a 45 gallon water tank between the fuel tanks. She really needs to go to a good new home.

Re: Tournament 27
I assume there is no power. Do you have the controls and if so what power are they for? It looks like you planned on twin outboards.
Did the console get completed and mounted or is that still needed? Do you have the console? |
Re: Tournament 27
There is no power. It is set up for twin outboards up to 600 horse power. My plan originally was for twin 275's but I would go with twin 300's now. The console is complete but not istalled in the boat. There are some pictures of it in the thread link I posted earlier. I do not have any cotrols for any motors right now, they would come with the new motors.

Re: Tournament 27
Too bad, you been workin on that baby for awhile, sure looks good and I just posted it another private forum
|
Re: Tournament 27
Thanks, Dixon I appreciate that.
|
Re: Tournament 27
There is also a toilet, sink, v-berth in the cabin to.
|
Re: Tournament 27
The fuel tanks are installed. The water tank is not installed but in place. The console and t-top are not installed, it would be easier to get the majority of the wiring and plumbing done before this is done. The toilet and holding tank are not installed.

Re: Tournament 27
Ok,..I haven't shopped for a pair of high horsepower outboards in a long time,...what is a pair of 300 E-Tec's or Yamaha's worth rigged and installed these days? Has anyone bought a pair of any of the other brands out there that could also chime in? Thanks, Lou

Re: Tournament 27
As for power you can get a pair of 250 - 300's for about $30K to less than $40K brand new. Or there are some non current models out there to for less, or even a set of one to two year old used motors for even less. I think you could find a good one or two year old used set around $20k. Let me know if there is any more info you need.
I had a quote for a pair of 275 Verados Brand new in the crates for $22K plus $5k for all the rigging. They were 2006 left overs and it was a year ago. There are deals out there if you do your homework. |
Re: Tournament 27
I spoke to Will at Bayside last week. He gave me a rough quote to complete the plubming, wiring, and console install for $3k in labor and my guesstimate for parts would be $2K (probably real high for the parts because I have a lot of them in my barn already). All the parts I have would be included with the sale to.

Re: Tournament 27
one of the best places to find used big motors is through the ska magazine or website (southern kingfish association). a lot of the guys are sponsored and get new twins every year. granted, these are tournament fished motors, but there are ridiculous deals to be had sometimes.
oh, and that boat looks insane. beautiful work all around. |
Re: Tournament 27
Thanks. You are right there are deals around if you look for them on big motors. I also have an inside connection to get some to I can use to help if you want to go with new power.
|
Re: Tournament 27
Some trades plus cash may be considered to. The boat is kept indoors out of the weather to.
|
Re: Tournament 27
Make me an offer. She needs a new home.
|
Re: Tournament 27
I'll deliver anywhere in FL to. No offers? Call me or e-mail. I can provide storage for a while to.

A boat as nice as the one being listed here should get a nice pair on the back, not a couple of blown out tourney engines. |

$29K OBO

Re: Tournament 27
Anything? Trades?

Re: Tournament 27
Todd, Such a cool boat. Please give a quick refresh on the basics: new tank, stringers, deck, etc? Approx weight once rigged and ready for engines and do you have someone who could complete the project and make it ready for powering? Thanks, Steve
