Re: Bow Dodger, Curtains, and Cushions
New "Canvas" always looks good, and makes the boat.
Nice Job. |
Re: Bow Dodger, Curtains, and Cushions
That looks really nice.
I could have used those wings on my enclosure last weekend... |
Re: Bow Dodger, Curtains, and Cushions
Thanks yall. They were alittle pricey but I have a 9 month old and mama said they needed some protection!! I also have a drop down for the back side of the dodger to completely close it in.

Re: Bow Dodger, Curtains, and Cushions
Thanks, yeah it is very nice. Took the baby and wife out Friday evening to Surf City to get dinner. On the way home put the baby in the bean bag under the dodger and let the engine sing him to sleep. This winter when the boat gets a make over I will be making the floor flush from front to back giving even more room under the dodger.

Re: Bow Dodger, Curtains, and Cushions
Yeah finally got the boat about like I want it. A buddy of mine at work bought your old seacraft and is now putting it back together. It is all freshly painted and looks great. I will post up some pics as soon as he is finished. He has be playing around with props on the mercury and is getting upper 50s.
The leaning post seat cushion is alittle thin so I am taking it back to get some thicker foam. |
I know this thread is old but I am looking at having curtains and wings made. If you don't mind me asking what did it cost? You can pm if you don't want to post. Thanks
|
Seacraft84 is also me.
I paid around $2000 for all curtains, dodger, leaning post cushions, and front console cushions. |

What make spray rails did you use on that boat? And did they help, in your opinion. Thanks Dave |
Barbour plastics. For the purpose of my boat, no they didnt help. They kept the tabs from performing to their max by more resistence. Then when you would be riding in chop you could feel a slight..."bump"... when the waves would hit the rails. Basically didnt allow the boat to slice thru the water.
Now this 1967 bowrider im redoing has no hard chine on the outer edge of the hull. So the bottom of the hull at the front goes striaght up to the sides of the hull. So this may need some skinny rails to help deflect water. |
did you get the 20 redone parrot with a flush deck?
the 2K sounded fair too |
Yeah om my 20' MA I raised it around 5" and was flush from bow to stern. Had around
20" freeboard in rear corner, 26" center of rear, and 30-32" at the bow |
