Please take a look under the repairs/mods section for detailed photos of the Hiliner. Hermit posted them for me a while back. I'll work on attaching new shots here as well. Boat must sell...purchasing a leftover Seacraft 23TE! Thanks, Steve

Re: Hiliner 222

Steve - I'll bet that boat is hooked up with the bravo III drive.

Blackfin26 06-18-2010 10:28 PM

Re: Hiliner 222

Big, Yes, hooked up is an understatement for sure. The bravo 3 and 260hp 5.0 Merc MPI are quite a combo...and it turns on a dime. The Hiliner is a heavier boat than most but it gets up and goes!

Hey Steve - I've seen you out on the water last thursday and again today!! The boat looks great.

Re: Hiliner 222

Bigshrimpin, I was out on CC Bay on Thursday...but the Hiliner's dry docked getting an oil change as of yesterday. There's a few bombing around the Cape this summer!! I run out of Sesuit or Ryder's Cove, Steve

Keeping it for now...but if you're still interested stop on by when you're in the neighborhood.

Re: Hiliner 222

She's back on the market...I may also consider selling the motor, transom plate, and drive as a package. Thanks all for having the Hiliner on here! Hoping to end up with a SC in the end...

Re: Hiliner 222

Blackfin there was a guy asking about a hiliner on tht the other day. Are you still thinking about the new 26 SC?

Blackfin26 09-15-2010 11:10 PM

Re: Hiliner 222

Hey Ryan, Yes and maybe....the original deal for the 26 fell through but may pan out in the end...the dealer kind of dropped the ball and let the contract lapse. However,
they are still working on it. Either way I'd like to be in a 25'-26' old/new Seacraft. Also a "One Boat Owner"! Thanks for asking, Steve

Re: Hiliner 222

The Hiliner (next best thing to a Seacraft) is still for sale and I'm open to offers. Water test time is running short. Thanks, Steve

Blackfin26 11-08-2010 01:55 PM

Hiliner 222 W/MPI Mercruiser

The new boat is on the way...I may consider separating the motor, transom assembly, and drive if anyone needs a repower (5.0 MPI Merc W/bravo 3 drive...maybe 75hrs). Thanks, Steve

Blackfin26 01-26-2011 05:49 PM

Re: Hiliner 222 W/MPI Mercruiser

Still for sale guys...I would also consider trading for a 20 Seacraft center console in "decent" shape. Running outboard, trailer, and solid hull. Let me know what you have. Thanks, Steve

Callipygian 01-27-2011 11:41 AM

Re: Hiliner 222 W/MPI Mercruiser

If you sell the Hilner and are still interested in a 20 Seacraft, I am going to put my 1978 20 MA up for sale in the Spring. Fighting Lady Yellow hull with Snow White topsides. Beautiful boat with 2007 Suzuki 175 under warranty to 2013. Best of luck. Geoffrey

Blackfin26 03-12-2011 04:07 PM

Re: Hiliner 222/ 5.0 Merc MPI W/bravo 3

The Hiliner is still for sale...I'm also willing to sell the engine/drive package if someone needs to repower. It's a 5.0 Merc MPI 260hp with about 50 hours on it!! Transom assembly and bravo 3 drive. Mint condition. Make an offer. Delivery around Cape Cod not a problem.
Thanks, Steve

Re: Hiliner 222/ 5.0 Merc MPI W/bravo 3

Pics sent a while ago. Also, price lowered to $21K even...boat must go. Would also sell the engine drive package (Merc 260hp MPI and bravo 3 drive with 50hours!) separately. Need offers. Thanks

Blackfin26 03-31-2011 10:51 PM

Re: Hiliner 222 with IO or Bracket

FYI...Also willing to pull motor and drive and install a single engine bracket. Excellent hull for a 150/200hp outboard. $13.5K for everything except the outboard. Restored from the hull up and set up for tuna or bass. Plenty of picutres available. Just email me your address. Thanks, Steve

Blackfin26 04-12-2011 05:38 PM

Re: Hiliner 222 with IO or Bracket

FYI....the Hiliner is up on ebay if anyone knows someone looking for a "very good" hull in the 22' range. Thanks guys!

Entourage 04-12-2011 06:03 PM

Re: Hiliner 222 with IO or Bracket

Yeah i seen on ebay nice boat. I would rather have the 5.0 MPI with bravo III than the outboard with bracket. Leave it the way it is. Prob really good on fuel too with MPI. :)

Blackfin26 04-13-2011 01:00 PM

Re: Hiliner 222 with IO or Bracket

Entourage, Thanks for the encouragement. It is a very fuel efficient set up. Better than similar four strokes for the horsepower. It rides like a 60's muscle car!

Entourage 04-13-2011 08:26 PM

Re: Hiliner 222 with IO or Bracket

Yeah i have a 23 with 225 etec with 1900 hrs i love the motor, but i also have a 23 with a 350mpi with bravo 1. I would rather have the 350mpi than the Etec. I was never a fan of carburated stern drives but when these mpi's came around for what i do i love them. The bravo 3 makes your setup ideal. Good luck with sale.

Blackfin26 04-14-2011 05:05 PM

Re: Hiliner 222 with IO or Bracket

Yes, the bravo 3 is an awesome drive in so many ways. I'll hang on as long as I can but she's got to go. Bring some decent offers. Thanks again, Steve

Blackfin26 05-13-2011 10:36 AM

Re: Hiliner 222 $ Reduced!

Price reduced to $19,995.00 Also, the boat is located on Rte 137 off of Exit 11 in Harwich, MA for viewing. I will also sell the engine/drive/controls as a seperate unit. Boat's got to go this season! Thanks all, Steve
