Re: seafari 20 restore project

btw if any one knows where i could get an original passenger seat platform that would be great :)

Re: seafari 20 restore project

Not sure what you mean by "seat platform", but I have an original pedestal and mating spyder that attaches to the original fiberglass bucket-type seat if that's what you're looking for. I replaced original helm pedestal in this pic with an adjustable height version. http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...aripics006.jpg

Re: seafari 20 restore project

Thank you! But what I'm actually looking for is the piece with the sink. btw I'm in North Palm too. I love your door, I have been sanding on mine and finally got all the paint off lol that was fun. It would be cool to see your Seafari in person sometime!

Update: the painters came and looked at my progress today. We went over all the little things I still need to do. She should be ready for 545 primer on Sat. They assured me that after they paint it its gonna look AWeSOmE WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!

Re: seafari 20 restore project

Sent you a PM with phone nos. and address. You're welcome to swing by anytime. I used Epifanes Wood Gloss varnish on the door, about 6-7 coats. PowerBoat reports recommended it as the most durable varnish, and it's held up well. Denny

That paint job came out REALLY nice! Did you have your cabin window frames black powder coated? They look sharp! Denny

Hey there! Saw you guys you at Peanut last month. I'm the girl with the 72 Seafari that was beached next to you.. Cool to see what a mess your craft was in before, what a transformation! Just wanted to stop by and say hi :D

Re: seafari 20 restore project

Brenda, yours and this one, plus Tiny's yellow one and mine make 4 Seafari's I know of in this area! Tiny stopped by to say hello last week. We should have a Seafari gathering at P.I. when he gets it back together! Denny

Re: seafari 20 restore project

YardSailor,
Is yours yellow with a happy dog ridin` shotgun?
There`s another yellow one in Lake Park so that makes 6.

Paint looks like glass. Is this the one that was at the storage place on Blue Heron for a lonnnnng time?

Cheers,
GFS

RE: seafari 20 restore project

Sandy,

The yellow boat may be Tiny's - he lives in Lake Park. Denny

Re: RE: seafari 20 restore project

His boat was on CL a week or two ago. Wonder what happened? He did such a great job. BTW it was the one on Blue Heron in the storage yard that was there 4-ever. The yellow one w/tower from NPB has been on and off the market for awhile too.

CL? The horror. Hope she finds a loving home.
Why am I drawn to SC`s in the weeds?

Cheers,
GFS
