Re: 1978 cc23 project build need help
I have not heard of many using seacast. I don't know the weight nor the strength of it. Since you are in Fl, I would confer with Don @ "Hermco" in Jensen Beach or Mike @ Wildfire Marine in Stuart. These guys are the pros.
I see by your pictures that your fuel tank is aft of the console. I would suggest you invest in a Hermco full flotation bracket to handle the weight of your fuel, the four stroke you plan on using and people on board. Notice how my '78cc sits in the water with a 250hp & the flotation bracket. I have 135gal of fuel but under the console not aft  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...k/P4280004.jpg |

I have a alum bracket all ready. i do fiberglassing at work so i want to do the transom myself. i was thinking of moving the tank up more under the console but not sure yet i mit need a new tank mine is only 105 gal i want bigger. i like your set up alot. how is the turning and speed.

Re: 1978 cc23 project build need help
Chuck,
I think Scott means to put it on the main page of the photo section. That would be 1 click instead of three clicks to get to the instructions... See ya, Ken |
