Original SeaCraft Sales Brochures
Hi All,
I have one 1978 and 1979 Original Specifications Brochures SeaCraft, with a 1979 Boat and Accessory price list and model specifications and a laminate layup comparison. The 79 Spec brochure also has on the last page full performance specs for all models and engine configs with speed of motors available at the time. For example with 2 guys, unloaded boat and full fuel a pair of 235's would run a 23 center console 60 mph,. My 300 Suzuki will deliver about 52 assuming I did not have a big lunch that day. Just a lot of fun info I also have a schedule sheet from seacraft with all of the number of units built/per configuration from the 15 sport i/o to the 27 master angler from 69 to 79. I am cleaning out a cabinet and they are free for the taking. I have had these for a lot of years and hope someone could get some enjoyment out of them. It would be nice if someone could scan and post this stuff on the site, although I am not sure if it is already there. Anyways I am in Hobe Sound, Fl if you would like to come by and pick them up. By the way they are FREE. |

Hello Jason
Jason (CSC Admin) has a good collection of many years, some are posted on this site. Maybe you can give them to me (I'm in Stuart) and I can get them to him  Send me a PM with your tel number & we can agree to a pick up date. Thanks Chuck |

Re: Original SeaCraft Sales Brochures
Jason555,
I just happen to have gotten a new all-in-one printer that has a document feeder. I would be happy to scan ALL of the material and post it up on the site or make it available in digital files for those who would like one or all of them. There is only one caveat. I will need to cut them into separate pages so that they feed through the scanner. It does duplex scanning as well as printing. Let me know. I would hope they stay together for future enthusiasts of the brand. Maybe Carla or someone else more appropriate than myself could aact as the SeaCaraft 'Librarian'! |
Re: Original SeaCraft Sales Brochures
I would be game to hold onto any original literature as a moderator, original founding crew, and will live longer than most of the old salts on here............... :o

Re: Original SeaCraft Sales Brochures
Man....what a "rough crowd" as Rodney Dangerfield would say. And I never use old salt in my margaritas.

Re: Original SeaCraft Sales Brochures
As Rodney's cousin EggSuckinDog likes to say........Just sayin.
I have been shirking my responsibilties since 3/02 as to being the historian...........check out my 9 yr old posting...... Vintage CSC thread |

Oh that`s poor, that`s poor. When I was young, we were so poor I had to ---- off the dog just to feed the cat. Oh, that`s poor.

Re: Original SeaCraft Sales Brochures
Thanks for the email Chuck, We will touch base next week when my company leaves and I will give all the materials to you. I think they will be good information for the members to have, Thanks Jason!

I posted this back in July 14 of 2011 as I have some original SC brochures and a sheet with production numbers that would be excellent info for the members to have access to. I totally forgot about this stuff until I proceeded to do another spring cleaning and found it once again. I will be glad to mail this to the keeper of SC info as long as they post the info on this site for the members as I do not have the ability to do this. Price is free just let me know who and where.,

brochure and owners manuals
Great to meet with Capt. Chuck today and get some fun SC historical stuff. Hope you can use the info I gave and post it for all members to see and enjoy. I think the SC owners/operators manual is a fun piece to read and we could actually make it assigned reading for all members with a quiz:)

Jason, your post reminds me that I also have a big folder of SeaCraft literature I've collected since the early 70's from many trips to the Miami Boat Show! Maybe we should get together at Harry & the Natives with Capt. Chuck and dump that on him as well! BTW, didn't know you lived so close; just had my boat up to the gals at HS Canvas about a month ago to have them redo my bimini top! We'll have to meet up at Harry's some time . . . it's my wife's favorite restaurant!

The gals at Hobe Sound canvas are the best and the nicest people as well. They came to my house as my boat cover needed some repairs, took their measurements, made the repairs and put it back on and left a bill in the front door. Harrys has the best breakfasts although gets real busy on the weekend. The literature I had is good stuff but it is a disservice to keep it in the file cabinet and out of sight. I really enjoy reading the posts on this site and sense the fun and energy the members have with their boats and am glad I could contribute to the library. When I am on my boat I really enjoy the experience, the comments about the boat and the power combination and the other SC folks I meet. Hope you all enjoy and use the materials:)))
