Just got back from the keys this evening. Had a great time, boat ran excellent once again. So happy to have an SC. Not too many pics though I had taken some with my phone but I ended up getting it wet and now I need a new one =*(.........

Anyone here know where I could get a splash well like this one? Would it have to be custom made?
Thanks.

The late Potter models had them, maybe by about 78-79. I remember seeing them on some boats at the Miami Boat show back then, and thought it was a good idea with the low 20" transom cutout used at the time. May have been an optional accessory. Looked like they were just added on, fastened to the transom with screws; don't remember if they were also fastened or sealed to the splashwell at the bottom. The originals had teak trim around the top, with a couple of cup holders. I think the bare laminate on the aft side was covered with indoor/outdoor carpet like they used behind the cockpit shelves on the Seafari. They're shown in the overhead views on the 20' OB models in the Specifications section. Shouldn't be too hard to pop a mold off of one if somebody has one they aren't using.

Thanks for the background. Even with my new 25" transom, the stern is lower than I'd like, with the Merc OptiMax and the livewell.
I'll post in the Repairs forum and pose the question.
Thanks again.

Found a splashwell, but it's from a 1978 Master Angler though, and it's the wrong configuration.

I need one just like this one, with the shin level baitwell and access hatch.

I wonder how much interest there would be in having a few of these made?

Well guys sad to say that just after a year of ownership I was forced to sell my baby last week. The boat was great to me and I will never forget it, will be looking for another 20SF for next summer but will prob be getting a 21 Paramount (ekk). Thank you all for all ur help during my ownership and the learning curve that was a SeaCraft
