Re: Seavette in the Keys
UGH! You suck! LOL :D Looking good! We took the 28 Carolina out to Sand Island Saturday and I had seen and heard a 23ft formula with through transom exhaust. I told my brother "damn I miss my ole Seavette"

Re: Seavette in the Keys
Thanks guys! Yeah we are staying pretty busy between work and getting the new house set up.
305 - it looked like ur pics were taken on the west end of the 7 mile bridge...we were on the east end. Would have been fun to get together. Steve it was kinda funny when I made the first pass I had it on cruise at about 40-45. My brother sent us a text that said "SLOW DOWN" lol. We had fun with it though and we still need to have a little bay area get together... |
Re: Seavette in the Keys

Re: Seavette in the Keys
I keep coming back to this thread to look at the pix. Talk about a sexy boat. Reminds me of a scaled-down Magnum from the same era.

Re: Seavette in the Keys
Thanks guys...got to give credit to Steve (lost2a6) for making this boat what it is. I am just the lucky guy who gets to enjoy her. Far as handling she rides pretty nice...its a 23ft SC after all :) shes a little stem heavy though so tabs and trim are required to keep the bow down in the rough stuff. We have been out a couple times in 3-4 footers and she knifed right thru it at about 35-40. Actually seems to ride better going a little faster vs 30 or less, I just worry about launching off a wave and breaking something...

The boat can take more then you can!!!! ;) Steve did a great job on your Seavette, be proud be happy! Run her like she is HOT!!!....... See ya, Ken |
Re: Seavette in the Keys
You will notice that as its getting up on the higher deadrise chines - too a point, then the passagers start a kind of a mutiny but its great for the driver LOL

Thanks guys...unfortunately I haven't had a chance to take the boat out lately. We moved a couple months ago and I've been working on the house on my days off. Should be done soon though so I can get out more.

Seavette in the Keys
You covered some good points here, I think a meaningful response is very important for comments.
