1978 18 seacraft with trailer $1500
 

Solid boat . . . used as-is the last 2 years. Transom was raised to 25" with 2 aluminum plates (1/2") and seacast. It's solid as a rock . . . but not very pretty. Fuel tank is good . . . 30 gallons. Couple of small areas in deck and floor that need to be recored. It's a very very easy restore or use as-is as a commercial beater. $1500 (no motor)

Oh so tempting...

The 18' Seacraft was no. 1 on my project boat list, right above the 17' Mako and 17' Aquasport. Couldn't find one when I finally got the go ahead from the wife, so I settled for the Aquasport. Ditched that when I found a much nicer Mako 2 miles from my house.

Thanks Brian! It's a great boat . . . very fishy. It's a real nice flyfishing boat too now that the windshield is off. 100 mile trips to east of stellwagen and fished chatham, nomans and Ptown regularly. Very Fast and economical to run . . . just moving onto the 23.

The ride is 10000x's better than a 17 mako . . . Very smooth for it's size . . . even rides better with 300lbs of fish/ice in the front box.

Like Big says, 10000x better. I took a friend offshore in July and I almost got tired of him telling me how much better the ride was than most of the big boats he fishes on. ...almost got tired... NOT!! :D When we bought ours, my wife said, " why do we want such an old boat?" After her first ride, she has only said how great a ride it is. You should get this one. ;) :D

I have been keeping an eye out for one here in South Florida but have not come across a great one yet. They move really quick. There was one on here about 5-8 months ago which was redone really nice. Was going to drive to Orlando to check it out but it was gone! Good luck with the sale.

Nothing . . . It's safe and dependable now, but the core in the front deck above the anchor locker is soft and there is one small spot in the floor that is a little soft.

What needs to be done....hmm...how about Bigshrimpin needs to wash it :D I have been on this 18 and fished/run along side it. Its a great little boat. If I didnt have 2 already it would be in my yard :o. This boat could be easily pimped out and thats a great price....Good luck with the sale!

To Sweeten the pot . . . I'll toss in enough merc parts to build a 1988 2.0L merc 150 (including a spare powerhead) for an additional $500 I'll also include the hydraulic steering ram. Just want this gone!! Got a 2001 225 MERC EFI coming for the 23 and I need the engine stand. Someone . . . Please take this away so I don't pimp this boat out during the winter.

Haha I think it's a great price! I didnt mean for it to come off that way. I'm 23, just dont want to get in over my head with the costs associated with finishing the project.

Hello I would buy this baby in a heart beat if I did not live so far away. I looked into shipping from Mass to Tampa Florida. And as a truck driver my self. I was shocked at the price. if my boss is getting that per mile I am way under paid. It is hard to find a great deal like yours down here. Good uck Great Boat !!!
