Anybody here?

Wow this place is dead lately anyone around? Happy holidays to my fellow fanatics of all things SeaCraft!

floorboy 12-17-2011 11:32 PM

"Anybody here?""

"The children were nestled all snug in their beds
while visions of sugarplums danced in their heads."

I just got up to put the puppy out. She pee'd.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

pianewman 12-18-2011 10:07 AM

Just walked both my shelties...they both pee'd and pooped. Then they retrieved flying discs in the park. Not just any flying discs, mind you. The ONLY ones they'll retrieve are stupidly expensive orange things, called "K-9 Flyer Jr.", made by Ruff Dawg. They have a very particular way they fly through the air...not too floaty, not too heavy/light...they're just "perfect". And...they're tear-proof, extremely durable. Probably will last about...say...35 years, then will need to be rebuilt.
My dogs are like Seacraft owners. They have to have the SAME toy, and they chase them, twice a day, with big grins, over and over...and over...I wonder if these things make a distinctive "shwoosh" when they come down, which makes the dogs smile?

I hope to visit Don Herman in the next few weeks, formally request a splashwell for my dad's 20' CC. Then, sadly, I'll be leaving the boat with my dad in Bradenton for the winter...sob...sob...

Merry Christmas to all. Thanks for all the good advice here, and the great pictures.
Happy New Year, as well.

I hate to say this, but I think it is the new format. It feels like all the other sites now.

I`m blaming that PITA Newman.

How many old Vermonters does it take to change a lightbulb? 101.

One to change the bulb and 100 to complain about how much better the old one was.

Cheers,
GFS

Tis the season,

Weather turned bad between Florida and the Bahamas on Oct 14 and I been shut down ever since.

The wife thinks I should be working on the house, company's coming for Christmas, can't do much on the boat but varnish, and varnish, and varnish. . .. There ain't that much varnish on this boat, how can it take so long?

Bitch, moan, complain

Absolutely nothin worth posting.

hallburg 12-18-2011 11:31 PM

Winter rain and morning frost, Seacraft's are covered for the winter. Actually we have had some decent sunny days but I had shoulder surgery in September and still can't do much of anything with my right arm. Physical therapy twice a week, doctor said recovery is about a year. I just look at the Seacraft every day and dream about when I can use both arms again.

Caymanboy 12-19-2011 07:16 AM

Ryan,
You may have a point, but I think it might be a combination of things.
First of all, there are way to many ways to stay connected concerning your boat.
You have Facebook, THT, now there is a Facebook SeaCraft Group, for a while there I was getting notified every second about someone who couldn't log on.
Plus people are just plain busy with life, holidays, bills, work, etc.
I check in ocasionally, other than that, just plodding along.
Everyone have a Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

Ryank 12-19-2011 09:24 AM

I still scan the wesite once a week or sooo, I did just do a bunch of glass work on the old Savage to touch up some spots that needed it, and installed a new bow rail, so the anchor wench doesnt feel shes going to fall off when she is unjamming the anchor winch.
Been really busy with the new Cat, planning a 11 day trip leaving this Friday. Wish we could go the Keys to see our friends we miss!!!! but Renee is still banned until Feb,

bigeasy1 12-19-2011 09:37 AM

I think it's just that time of the year, all my favorite sites are slow on traffic.I'm missing my boat, and have to go onto my pics every few days to see her.

Hope everyone has a very merry Christmas, and a great new year.

Yepper Ryan.........lots of crickets!

Wildman 12-19-2011 05:24 PM

I too have been super busy with things OTHER than boats... Mine is sitting in the yard unwrapped, full of snow at the moment.

House project that's taking up the whole house, and needs to be done for Christmas,
End of my season, trying to get all the bills done before end of year.
Buying a new truck (wicked PITA getting it registerd)
...and of course picked up a range toy, had to take a break from other stuff to go sight it in.

Mr. Ryan-Snookerd is here

Yep, I'm definitely a guilty party with not posting more often..............Getting ready for Christmas and running my business on Anna Maria Island is my excuse. I do have SeaCraft pictures from a trip in the last 5 days though (anyone else been on their boat since Sat.?)! I have been made aware that a Sunbrella bimini and custom cushions may be under the tree this year. Here is my evidence of a Dec trip with the family..........

Amen!!! Sorry I haven't been participating much, but, you guys STAY in my mind! My buddies are sick of hearing me say, "on the SeaCraft website...."! This is my happy place! :) Merry Christmas to all!!! (As soon as deer season is over, I'm going after the stripers hard!)
