My dad had a 20ft sceptre dark blue color with bracket. Thats the best ridding 20 ft boat i had ever been in, and ive been in many. Nice boat.

riptide 02-22-2012 07:22 PM

Very nice.

Be careful under that boat. Those stands should be chained together and some more keel support forward.

Entourage 02-22-2012 07:57 PM

Thanks for info, its already back on the trailer that was right before i put it back on trailer.

floorboy 02-22-2012 09:05 PM

Transom stands are in order.

Ask q`s people. B4 you duplicate our folly.

Use the search function and be curious. Learn from those who came before you.

Filter. Filter. Think. Think some more.

What ?????? Sorry but I have no idea what your trying to say here.

Entourage 02-23-2012 07:02 PM

I didn't understand it either thats why i kept quiet. But i'm sure it directs to something i did wrong.

WildBill 02-23-2012 07:48 PM

Chaining the boat stands.

I think he's talking about the stands that are in the earlier photo suporting the front of your craft. I believe he's talking about chaining them together so they cant slide apart and the boat fall.
By the way where can I get a set of stands like those? I've still got alot of redneck in me so mine is on blocks.

Entourage 02-23-2012 08:20 PM

I got mine from a place in Mattapoisett Mass named Brownell Boatworks they make them there.

Yes, well, that's Sandy. He's a bit cryptic at times. Likes to leave things open to interpretation. Sorta poetic ain't he? Hang around long enough and you start to understand him. THAT'S when it's time to worry.
Dave

I may have affected the early retirement decisions of some mental health professionals.
I take no credit.

I was harsh.

You normally start with the stands on the stern corners. Stability. Safety.

I feel the knowledge here is to be respected and shared.

Ask questions. Many.

There is no such thing as a stupid question. Only stupid results.

Cheers,
GFS

You are absolutely right. That was uncalled for and I apologise. Maybe I had forgotten to take off my THT hat. There is no excuse for that here. This site is about sharing and helping others.

I was not helpful. What I shared was in poor taste. Again, my apology.

From schmuckville,
Sandy

Entourage 02-24-2012 09:45 AM

Apology accepted.

Halloween was always my favorite holliday.

BigLew 03-21-2012 09:26 PM

Why are we not surprised?

Does anyone else here know that after Christmas, Halloween is the holiday for which the most money is spent by the average person?

And you never thought there was money in them ghosts! Boo!

him out...... :p;)

DonV 03-22-2012 09:22 AM

Yeah Ken, I'm thinking he rolled off the bed on his head as a baby!! :) My solution is simple, if I don't get his "Sandyism" quick, or I get even a slight bit confused...I just move on and forget about it.

Don, I have a dear old friend in Vt. named Ziggy. He creates Ziggyisms.

Gription is one of his creations. He`ll be in town in April...........let the fun begin!!!

He has a little red wagon with a battery, fish finder ,and transducer. When he marks fish, he cranks up the power auger.

No!

Sigafoos. Pennsylvania Dutch. Shatigee by woodchuck translation.

Woodstock, VT. The town that rejected the filming of Peyton Place.

The Xmas commercial for AB was filmed there. Big horses.

My `52 F1 was in the backround. Way before rat rods. Seven colors. Faster than a Vette in the late 80`s..

The horses were well behaved,

Big too,
GFS

gofastsandman 03-28-2012 08:19 PM

Nasa keeps pestering me for my old black book of travel agents.

Kayak has nothing on my old sources.

Back in the day, I had two log books. FAA and watch this.

My old friends still can`t believe I`ve had a safe drivers endorsement since `92 in Fl.

You can leave the rodeo, but the clowns can`t wash off the makeup.

Cheers,
Watch this.
