MoeslySeaCraft Website

MoeslySeaCraft website update

It may be on the blitz for a few days until I can get things figured out.

It had been hosted by Msft Office Live Business, & then 2 months ago they announced they were “shutting down” that line of hosting the end of this month.
For the last 2 months, I have been re-creating the website (better & more info too) with another host.
Yesterday I took the big step of re-directing “MoeslySeaCraft.com” to the new host/website. It can take 24-48 hours to take effect. So I’m waiting to see if I did it right, or is it being re-directed to la-la land.

In the meantime, I’ve lost use of my email: bowrider@moeslyseacraft and admin@moeslyseacraft. Please use my yahoo email listed in my profile on CSC or send a PM.

I’m not an IT person, but hopefully I’ll get this all figured out soon.
In the meantime, I apologize for any inconvenience and will keep you posted.

Carla,

All the luck in the world to you as you navigate these waters. Seacrafts are good in the waves, but in the cloud and it's bits and bytes, we await your safe return and Seacraft review!

Carla,

The new website is working fine and looks great! I love all the new info on the early SeaCraft racing history and race results! Carl and Jeanne were certainly a busy couple of folks in the 60's! Denny

The new site looks good Carla. I need to get you some pics of my two Seacrafts to add to the Owner's section.
Dave

Yes Dave, I do need some pictures!

Interesting ... Some of you see the new site ... But my computers (desktop/laptop) do not!
I'm still getting the old site ... Tomorrow is a new day and hopefully all will be good.

If any IT guys are reading this, maybe you can give me an insight.
Thanks, Carla

Looks sweet Carla. I added the new site to my favorites and deleted the old, I'm good to go!

65Bowrider 04-08-2012 08:40 AM

It finally worked on MY computer...Not at 7am, but by 8am it's working!

Thank you for the emails and words of encouragement on the new website.
There is more work to be done and I'll be getting to that.

I do need photos for our Proud Owners list ... now separated by models.
So please do join in ...

Happy Easter everyone.
Carla

Finally got the site to come up. Looks great Carla. Love the race results and early history.

I didn`t see a section for slacker pictures.... , but the site has a great vintage look.

Are you going to add forum/s?

Sorry about your lost email.

65Bowrider 04-10-2012 07:31 AM

The Scampi was found last year I believe.
I'll try to get an update on the restore process and post it.

English?

McGillicuddy 04-10-2012 01:21 PM

ok, flowery Carrolesque prose is fine too:D
"'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe..."

65Bowrider 04-11-2012 07:06 AM

GFS ... new section added under Proud Owners ... "Later Models"
after all, we are all still part of this great CSC family!

The true FORUM is on this site and it's the greatest one around ... just look at the membership numbers & postings each day!

On MSC, it's just a simple place to post a question or show off your boat in the Proud Owners section or find info and brochures on the original models.
If anyone has additional suggestions, they are definitely welcomed.
Thank you.
Carla

I wear your SS emblems with pride, but hid the classic line behind the grab rail as best I could.

Your site is pure,
GFS

DonV 04-11-2012 08:51 PM

Hey Sandy....how about you??? You pure?? :) :)

Sandy,

You are a classic! Therefore this sites honors more than one type of classic and how many sites can boast that!!!

PS: Incase you're wondering, the Citgo sign is still MINE!

They say you only have three colors to play with. I do not believe them.

By all rights, I should have become an abstract painting at well over a hundred miles an hour as a child.

I think something kept me here.

My old friends laugh at my safe drivers endorsement. Driving well since `92.

Cheers,
Sideways

I understand Pease has some vintage Hercules copters in mothballs?

I referred to you as a "classic", not a Master Piece. Nice try though.

I clean up nicely.

Simon Pearce is working on a prototype as we speak.

Did I say speak?

BigLew 04-12-2012 09:17 PM

Yes, you did!

We should do that sometime. PM me your phone number and I will return the favour. And we will do just just that sometime very soon, Sandy.
