Interesting HIN. Are you sure it's not CSY71...? That would be the manufacturer code for Caribbean Sailing Yachts. They owned the rights to the 23' and 27' models in the early 80s. For a 20' in that time frame, I would have expected a HIN starting with SIC for Seacraft Industries. I believe the last three numbers indicate a manufacture date of March '81. May not have been titled until '85?

Regardless, it's a nice Master Angler for a good price.

Dave

EastEnder 06-06-2012 09:16 PM

Too bad your not further up north; Id be very interested! GLWS!

mperkins 07-15-2012 10:51 AM

Maybe I need some advice, I thought I had priced it right. Sorry for the confusion on the trans. number, that is the pay pal trancaction number for the listing fee. thanks John

PigSticker 07-15-2012 12:17 PM

Seems to be priced right, maybe its just your location...and around here i kinda see alot more bigger cc being sold then small ones

cbboatworks 07-15-2012 08:02 PM

If it was a SF i would take it for $4700 I will be in Morehead Tuesday picking up a 20sf and two other center console boats, what is your bottom dollar? i may be interested at a lower price. Thanks

jetred 07-15-2012 11:30 PM

I'm interested

I'm interested in your boat. Not crazy about the color. Is it serviceable as is or are there soft spots? I wouldn't be able to go look at it till next weekend.

mperkins 07-16-2012 02:02 PM

cbboatworks you may have a PM if I came close to doing it correctly.

mperkins 07-16-2012 02:03 PM

jetred you also have a PM if I was able to send it correctly

Cutiger 07-17-2012 02:56 PM

If it's around still when my Shamrock sells I'll be all over it. Just need the cash from my boat first.

REXGEAR 07-18-2012 04:03 PM

Hey... i am trying to replicate the original switch panel of the 1985 Seacraft... or buy an original one that is in good conditions... i was looking at yours which is exactly what i am looking for... will it be possible for you to give me the dimensions of your switch panel?

Thank you!

mperkins 07-19-2012 07:20 AM

3 Attachment(s)
Rexgear, if we are talking about this panel, it measures 23" x 3 1/2", it appears to be made of platic engraving stock, approx. 1/16 tk. The thickness of the material you use will be limited by the design of the breakers you install. I believe the ones in this panel are AirPax, the cutout dimensions are, I am sure, listed on their web page. With a dimensioned drawing this panel would be readily produced with a cnc rotary engraving machine, the software may even have a font that is real close. Attachment 2472

REXGEAR 07-19-2012 10:03 AM

Thank you so much for the specs on the panel! Ill let you know how close i can replicate it.

mperkins 07-25-2012 05:12 PM

Can't attach an attachment

Hey guys, I had one prospect this weekend but we couldn't quite get there.

I am trying to post a Word Document as an attachment in this post, but I keep getting an "invalid error". The document has a list of improvements I would like to add to this posting, any help/advice on adding this attachment would be appreciated. thanks John

Old'sCool 07-25-2012 05:27 PM

Cut/paste from Word into the post edit

mperkins 07-26-2012 06:17 PM

I love the bow cleat "handle"look.

Good luck on the sale. Great boat for the money (regardless of the hull color) I like the yellow BTW.

Hey dave I think that is his Pay Pal transaction # Not the HIN :p

tunacious 06-02-2013 09:13 PM

Are the dualing bow rails original? Never seen a Master Angler with a high bow rail. Bump for a sweet boat.

McGillicuddy 06-04-2013 12:43 PM

I am having trouble believing this boat is still for sale. Real fine looking boat you got there Perkins. Surprised no one's perked up on this. Would last a day out west at that price point.
Good luck!

Ooops, 1 year later !!

Lets start looking at posting dates...;)

I made the same mistake with newellchunker a while back
by not looking at the posting date....

We all get caught up in the post when they re-surface
after being dormant for awhile...

All is good...:D

Blue_Heron 06-04-2013 08:03 PM

Ken,
The listing came back up because the OP posted "still for sale" last week.
Dave

McGillicuddy 06-04-2013 09:34 PM

And its still a heck of a fine deal...;)

flyingfrizzle 06-04-2013 09:34 PM

It had been dormant a while when I caught that myself the second time around, Did not see this one the first time, sometimes I spend more time looking at the older post than the new and it seems like the more I read them the more I catch, understand or get out of them. (especially when I read what GFS writes) :D

Now now, don`t make me stop the car. If only I could get cars to use their blinkers down
here. Stupid cars. They just don`t listen.
