Does anyone else look at the bottom of the main page and
make note of "Welcome to our newest member".
Since the spammers started attacking our refuge here, it
seems that about every couple of hours there is a new
jerk trying to bust in...:eek:
Just look at some of the monikers they are using!
Viagrapro, ScheHaauwer, MohkRT3wz, etc..
I know J and Chuck are now screening all that want to
join before they approve them for posting! :)
My suggestion is that if you want to join you should be
required to give Name, Address, Phone & Email!
Just about every administered website today will verify you through a
return email from the perspective member..
Just my 2¢ worth!

The "welcome new member" as seen in the forum pages is new registrations not new members. I cut off all new registrations so they have to be manually accepted or delted by me last week as spammers were HAMMERING this site. So with that said all those names , with the exception of those that registered before I cut off the new registrations will be deleted.

We are still on the same server as we have been for the past 10 or so years.

If you mean the forum software well, if we had the old forum software CSC forum would cease to exist as the old software had no way to stop what is happening today and it would crash daily.
