Hard to believe someone hasn't scooped this up with spring all over us and the warm weather here in NC right now. (forecast 72 all week long this week)

If you got some spare time, I would like to check out your 20 and your 28 one day. Just a hop skip and a jump from Morehead.

parrott 05-11-2013 01:22 AM

Yeah man anytime. My 20 is at my house downtown and dads 28 is at his house in spooners creek.
Really no hurry. Will sell for right price but would also like to use since summer is here

flyingfrizzle 05-11-2013 08:52 AM

I think I met you dad in morehead awhile back, I remember Talking to him about a 28 he just built. He said he had a son that he build a seacraft 20 ma with. I got a hull from him that he took a Suzuki off of. Was that your dad by chance?

newellchunker 05-11-2013 06:27 PM

Frizzle...his dad's name is Donnie if I'm not badly mistaken and an outstanding gentleman!

parrott 06-04-2013 09:53 AM

Yes sir thats him. He is finishing up building a 18ft carolina boat now. I will try and post up some pics

flyingfrizzle 06-04-2013 11:59 AM

I love those Carolina boats, I want to build one some day. Juniper plank epoxy coated with a broken sheer lines and with huge flair on the bow. These boats are beautiful works of art. If I wasn't knee deep in SC projects I would think about doing one.

Something like this:

Thats them. He has been getting the jigs from enviboatworks.
He has built two 21ft's, 28ft express, and now the 18ft CC

Man, those r sweet! Looking at those makes me want to go out and get a set of frames and try my luck at a build. Those Carolina boats got to be the sexiest boats on the water. (SeaCrafts takes a close second thoe) Dose your dad make his own frames or dose he get a set of cut outs from somewhere like Shearline Boatworks or somewhere similar?
