Shrimpboat trip

I took a few friends out to the shrimp boats 70NM out in the Gulf off of KW this past Sunday. One of them is pretty decent at video editing and sent me the following video of the trip I hope you all enjoy:

Thanks for postin that, Trayder.
Looks like an awesome day was had by all! That was some seriously fishy water. BkFT on the fly - what a blast.

Cheers.

I wish I could have hooked up with you one of the days I was down there last March. That is exactly the type of fishing I wanted to do.

Blackfin26 03-01-2013 02:16 PM

Great video, nice tuna action and good music.it made my day, thanks.
I was sitting here at my desk,at work, looking outside at cold, dreary, and wet New England weather when Id came across your vid.Just what I needed, made me feel all happy again, and thinking it won't be long before I'm back on the water.

Trayder 03-01-2013 06:31 PM

Thanks guys the video was done by Dylan at Badfish angling, he has some other sick video from his travels if you dig around the other links. I was amazed when I first saw this one. Aside from one hell of a Fly fisherman his video editing skills speak for themselves

No yellows in the mix all blackfin, Bonita, bull sharks and porpoise

As if 801 "girls" were not tempting enough?

you Joey, and Chuck really ought to do a reunion tour down here. I just picked up a 16 Dolphin super skiff poling skiff as well so you all should be covered.

DonV 03-06-2013 03:04 PM

I don't know Mark, a lot of the "tuna" I saw strolling down Duval St. were not worth eating!! I'd go with Jason to the open water. :)

Being the albie (aka bonita) junkie I am, I dropped a load watching this video.

Nice blackfin J! I'm boarding a plane today with RPLX in hand. See you this evening. ;)
